  1. If purchasing new, your Nav system will be at whatever map version was install at the factory. If purchasing used, your Nav system will be at whatever map version the previous owner updated it to (otherwise what it can out of the factory with). A dealer won't update at their own expense - they don't get map updates to install for free from Lexus. No need to worry about partial postcode - new models have all supported full post code for 10 years plus now. The CT has always supported this.
  2. Only the F-Sport had a different (slightly lowered) suspension compared to all other grades. Therefore any difference to the ride quality is the size of wheels and tyres being used.
  3. Welcome Andy, looks like a good find.
  4. 84250A SWITCH ASSY, STEERING PAD 84250-30400-C0 PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM-MILLI-WAVE RADAR TYPE, BLACK, TRIM04, 1*, 2* 84250-30400-E0 PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM-MILLI-WAVE RADAR TYPE, ORCHID BROWN, TRIM00, 01, 02
  5. Absolutely not compatible. US and Europe use different systems.
  6. The GS essentially has the same design as the LS but no I've not heard of it happening on a GS series II. Having said that, if I still owned my GS430 I think I would have changed the rad by now - even if it doesn't suffer premature failure it must be getting to an age where natural corrosion and fatigue could result in a failure.
  7. I'm not aware of anybody reporting water ingress issues on a current generation IS on these forums.
  8. Yes, same power plant as the current gen, just with a few tweaks to improve throttle response.
  9. ?? The ES wasn't mentioned. Yes it is available in the US but the IS hybrid isn't, so no surprise hybrid isn't available on the new one. MY21 IS hybrid I believe will be available in Japan and Australia and possibly other countries too.
  10. That is because it was a US launch and they don't have the IS in hybrid form there. There is a hybrid model for other markets.
  11. I believe the xxxxx-YZZAA and other such codes are Toyota Optifit parts. Toyota approved OEM replacement parts (rather than genuine OEM parts) to help owners reduce the cost of ownership.
  12. Yes, the float that operates the fuel gauge. If a large enough change in the fuel level occurs it triggers a fill up - I think you need to add about 10 litres for it to trigger.
  13. possibly a bad solder joint on the connector socket, a cracked track on the board near the connector, the pins on the plug need to be bent to give a better mechanical connection, or a break in one of the cables near the connector plug. Are you able to take a close up of the just the one PCB connector which is causing problems, rather than a picture of the whole board - both top and bottom.
  14. Had a quick look on iPlayer. It was an LS 500h
  15. Didn't see the programme but probably an LFA.
  16. I've always used Brodit Proclip holders but they are expensive and difficult to get in the UK. My daughter has a CD slot holder - seems to work fine, slightly different design to the one above.
  17. It is the same for Bosch etc. Halfords are just passing on the T&Cs from the manufacturer of their batteries. I'd heard ECP will swap out a battery when technically they could push back so they could be worth using if you don't have a good independent near.
