    The NX has illuminated door handles with puddle lights on the F Sport / Takumi. You also get them on the standard grade with one of the Premium packs.

    In Japan and US the tow pack includes upgraded transmission cooling, but that is standard on all European vehicles due to our higher driving speeds. So the European towbar accessory is just the mechanical piece and the electrical kit (multiple ones due to different socket/pin options). You would think the electrical parts are the same but it could just be a European sourced item so cannot guarantee it is.

    Do you have the warranty work invoice? The part written on the item isn't always a valid orderable part code - it could be a sub-assembly code or oem code. Potentially years as misting doesn't always turn into a leak. If you can, I'd wipe them down so you remove all traces, it's easier to then see how quickly it comes back.

    If not more. It's always difficult to put a price on low mileage - all others of that age have done way more miles. I'd say £11k is still a good deal. Just for the part if you replace with a genuine part (and actually I'd put the figure higher). The air suspension gives more problems on the older shape RX rather than the one you are interested - it may not be as big a problem on a 2010 model because it is not old enough yet or the reliability has been improved but the fact is that suspension are essentially wear & tear items that will fail (or degrade) at some point.

    I've seen a couple of videos that show plugging into the connector just to the left of the big ground connector block that you have photographed, but in your vehicle there is something already connected - maybe trace where that is going (although remember there may be a difference for LHD vs RHD vehicles, and if it was that easy why are the European instructions I posted so much more difficult).

    Yes this definitely isn't for towing. It is one of many ground junction connectors which as you say all have white/black coloured wiring. I'm not sure it is this one but it's an example:

    Unless it has been re-trimmed it will be a light grey colour as white wasn't an option. Someone would be seriously stupid to pay that much.

    P0117 is a temperature sensor issue, and may point towards a wiring short rather than the sensor itself being at fault. Worth making sure your 12v battery is ok and charged first and then have a good look around the engine bay for any wiring damage.

    I think that is optimistic. Probably takes an extra 3 mins to get through - but it is extra noise and delay they may not want so will move on. There was a Which? article very recently - they stated this about Catloc: I think Toyota/Lexus are now putting more effort into Smart Water kits:

    Might be worth using an engine flush when you next change your oil. Mobil 1 or Castrol Edge are excellent but you should be fine with Magnatec.

    Around 1,000 a year which is better than the GS it effectively replaced. Probably what Lexus GB expected. No, a 17" 4" width (which is half the 18" wheel 8" width) space saver is used in some countries (not UK) - I cannot see a full size wheel being able to fit, not if you want the existing boot floor.

    I'm assuming that the item you have in your pictures is the relay box so the wires from it should be going to the external socket. You may need to trace the wires from the relay box to find out where they are going - some of them should be exiting the vehicle. Maybe it has been pulled back into the vehicle or cut off - you may have to take the rear bumper off to see what's going on.

    Bluetooth became available in 2005 on the RX300 with Navigation after the 400h launched. You can tell if you have it because the steering wheel will have controls on the righthand side as well as the left. Bluetooth is purely for telephone connectivity, not audio streaming. Pairing should be straightforward but some people with modern phones struggle as the Bluetooth version between the two devices is too great and backwards compatibility isn't always there.

    Not much to look out for really. The hybrid battery isn't an issue - I cannot remember a single CT owner here having an issue with that. Check the brake discs aren't corroded as hybrids don't tend to use the mechanical brakes as much and can therefore start to corrode, especially on the rear. Worth test driving one to make sure you like the hybrid system - it takes a little getting use to and not everyone likes it and the CT lacks a bit of power if you are use to something bigger.

    I've not been tracking used NX prices, are they going up like many other vehicles at the moment? New sales of the NX have been holding up well, although they could start to drop now the new model has been announced.

    That is exactly what it is in the IS/RC. They don't have the brake hold feature.

    Yes the F Sport seats are 16 way with 4 way lumbar and the Lux 10 way with 2 way lumbar . Not as good as the 18 way Premier seats with calf support and butterfly headrest but definitely different to the Luxury. Different leather covering too. The F Sport wheel has a perforated leather wrap in addition to the little badge.

    Yes I believe both the bonnet and rear hatch are aluminium on the CT.

    If the changeover occurs as a normal yearly change then the end of August would be the time the old ones are manufactured - so arriving in the UK at the end of Sept/Oct. It might be slightly early if there is a lot of retooling required to the manufacturing lines. But there will be a few unregistered showroom vehicles around which means a series I could be sold and registered after the series II arrives.
