  1. Even if it works, it's the main head unit that provides the split screen functionality - without that you just get a slightly bigger (distorted) display, or a square display with unused borders.
  2. The quote previous stated a 3.4% drop in energy, and 3.4% of 477 is 16. At max throttle/power that is probably accurate. However it isn’t quite that simple in normal running as whilst the energy is less, the fuelling system will add more to compensate so you might not see such a drop in power - but you will see a drop in economy.
  3. New Kias are very good, and I think most of the EV6 issues are sorted now, or certainly will be by the time you get your one. Do you have a date, I thought the lead time is quite long at the moment?
  4. I’ve posted the reason on multiple threads over the last year or so. You can see what parts changed at the end of 2006 if you look on a reliable epc, not the inaccurate one posted earlier in this thread.
  5. But get what instead? Toyota/Lexus still seem to be in a better position than most other manufacturers
  6. It won't run on 91 RON, but that isn't available in the UK anyway. 95RON is the lowest suggested fuel on the F engine.
  7. The reason has been posted multiple times in the past. The grade of aluminium of the high pressure rails, pipes and/or pump reacts with the fuel. All the early Toyota Direct injection engines are affected, and other Japanese manufacturers too.
  8. Ah, you are looking for a PPF. Certainly the best way to protect your paint but there is a lot of the cost is in the prep. and so the best time to apply one is straight from the factory. To me I find the cost of a PPF too much, I'd rather polish and wax the car every 6 months. I certainly wouldn't get a full PPF unless it was a very expensive car/paint job. Have you considered just getting the front end done?
  9. Yes that's a great price. Rip off pricing here in the UK - a minor 10k oil change service is £285 and a standard 20k/40k/80k service is £475 for a GS300h. More for the larger 60k and 100k services.
  10. It does depend on how good a respray your are looking for - remove the whole interior to do it properly if changing the colour will cost a lot. I don't think they are comparable though - a wrap is reversible. Resprays are covering up accident damage in the eyes of the motor trade when selling your vehicle. 🤣 I wonder if the DVLA will accept psychedelic.
  11. As other have said, check for rust and be prepared for low mpg, especially on the 4 speed auto. Here are other things to check:
  12. Probably much less than 50% of those have ML. There are a couple on autotrader at the moment though.
  13. Depends on the quality of the product and how well it is looked after but you should expect 5 years - but the point is well made, it isn't as long lasting as the original paint.
  14. It should just be the standard Denso fitting. Not sure why they don't list it. Not sure about Bosch aftermarket ones but Autodoc.co.uk list the OEM one, or directly from Lexus on their official Ebay store: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/253755744919 or Lexus Parts Direct.
  15. I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve. One thing to consider is insurance companies - many don't like wrapped cars, some don't even like PPF, and will either increase premiums or refuse to quote PS I created this a specific thread, rather than tagging into the reply you initially made.
  16. Most do, and pricing is high to keep their dealers in business. Tesla don’t require any servicing to maintain the warranty, just recommend brake servicing periodically.
  17. As you are breaching the rules of these forums I'll put an end to this thread. As an FYI, Techstream isn't slow if you set it up correctly and have correct hardware. I presume you have a pirated copy and/or a cheap and slow OBDII adapter.
  18. To my knowledge the 5 mph increment is the same across the world for Lexus vehicles apart from some specific countries. Certainly owners manuals in the US state the same as UK in this regard and people on forums ask the same questions. 5 mph increments if adaptive cruise is enabled. Press and hold may allow 1 mph changes but that seems to vary between models. 1 mph increments if non-adaptive cruise is enabled. I've not seen a setting in TS to alter this behaviour, but I can't say I've specifically gone looking for it.
  19. Plenty of good charging options around, such as Ionity, and Tesla superchargers are being opened up for other vehicles. Luckily they aren't continuing with the obsolete CHAdeMO charge port on the RZ so you also have more options than UX owners.
  20. I had my GS F permanently on charge over Covid lockdown - ran the wires out by the headlight which avoided running them over the bonnet seal.
  21. Interior carbon fibre trim is delaminating which is expected but inconsistent with the description of the interior being like new.
  22. What year was your RX? Your profile states you have an NX not RX.
  23. The question has been fully answered in the second and third post.
  24. Depends on the specific age and wheel configuration which means you may go over the 110g/km threshold into the next bracket so up from £10 to £20. April 2017 onwards is when yearly vehicle tax (except the first year) is essentially a flat fee rather than being based on CO2 emissions. It is £155 for hybrids and £165 for standard petrol or diesels.
