  1. Ha Ha, they offered me that car when I took mine there, I suddenly remembered I had a friend who could come and pick me up, I would say do you have to sit in the back to drive it, but then it doesn’t have a back, I would say though its very easy to clean the back window from sitting in the drivers seat.
  2. not sure about cheap, there are a couple on the lexus website around the same price that are slightly newer with less millage
  3. Hi and welcome to the forum. I have had a couple of 450h’s, very nice car, only you can determine the efficiency costs between the two cars working on your millage, fuel costs and the 20% extra cost. As for the battery’s I have only heard of three problems world wide, I would be more concerned about the other problems discussed in this thread, “Expensive Week For The Gs450H! although is you have the time and knowhow they can be fixed quite cheaply and easily. The other thing to conceder is that Lexus now have a large hybrid range and the last thing they would want is reliability issues with battery’s
  4. Thanks Stu for arranging the meet, and nice to see some new faces, a lovely location, perhaps another meet there in the summer, when they are serving food outside,
  5. I have an original set of Lexus rubber mats ( grey ) to fit a GS MK3, ( they will also fit a MK4 95% ) if any one is interested in then, I can bring them along to the meet as long as I don’t get called into work at the last minuet.
  6. I think sales of the RCF will be low, I know two people that have cancelled there order for the RCF in favour of the GSF, the RCF has sold well in the US but when you read they profiles most RCF owners have a second car for family use, only using the RCF as there weekend/fun car. The ISF is more of a family car were the RCF is not, I think they should have made the boot a bit smaller and moved the back seats back by 6”, what’s the point of a large boot for only two people, so in this country not many people have just a weekend/ fun car, so I think the GSF will sell better, the only stumbling point will be the price, probably around the £75k mark.
  7. Sidcup have sold three Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. i have a good one for you Steve GS 13XUS
  9. Yep he’s gone, and anyone else who say’s they don’t like my car gets it as well, so you all better watch it. Lol.
  10. I have been fortunate and have seen the RC-F in all the exterior colours available, except grey, I don’t know if its just me but its amazing how different the car looks in each colour, the first colour I saw was silver, and I agree with you Stu the head lights did look odd, but for some reason I think they look better on darker colour cars, they seem to blend in more and also look better from a distance, as for the interior I think the same applies, the red is very red not like the red in my GS, and I think it makes the inside look like a patch work quilt. It will be interesting to hear what you think of the grey or black interior, as there is not so much of a contrast, as for the suede, I was in the car a few days ago in shirtsleeves and it felt quite nice and soft on the centre console and door arm rest compared to leather.
  11. only once a day. lol. they told me that every time i clean it i could put swirls and scratches in the paint and i should only wash it once every week to ten days, but there is no way i could leave it that long
  12. hear you go Stu http://www.theultima...t-brands-hatch/
  13. Hi Mark thank you for you remarks yes the car does seem to be attracting some attention, especially from next door when i start it up at 3am to go to work.lol. have been lucky with the weather, the colour really shines in the sunshine, like the ISF i don't think people know exactly what it is. what did you think of the test drive?
  14. apparently the producer had ordered two RCF's for him and his wife and was not to pleased with the review. lol.
  15. well i love mine and the colour really glistens in the sunshine
  16. Nice! Come to the Cambridge meet chap :) i will try Stu, not sure if i am working yet.
  17. I pick my RC-F up tomorrow and the least of my concerns are what Mr Clarkson thinks of it, 0-60 times and how fast it will go round a track. However it seems to me like you can fix any drag race, in the clip it looked like the BMW had major traction problems with smoke Cumming from the rear tyres for most of the race, the BMW as mentioned above seem to be catching the RC-F quite quickly towards the end of the race, so if the drag race was 300 yards longer the result may have been different, which I find odd because most of the reviews I have read have said that the RC-F lacks low end torque so the race should have been the other way round with the RC-F catching the BMW up. So only 14 hours to go, am I excited well yes, will I sleep tonight well no actually I start work at 10.30pm till 05.30am.
  18. Mark I know there is one at Lexus sidcup as a buyer has pulled out ( nothing to do with any reviews) i know its a bit of a treck for you, but if it fits your requirments.
  19. Agree with you Andy, it seemed to be just because he couldn’t power slide it and every time he tried the car corrected its self he doesn’t like it, I don’t know much about the TVD and I am probably wrong, but isn’t that what its supposed to do, stop you from sliding of the track and potentially killing your self, surely he should have had the TVD turned off. And if he really wanted to slag the car of even more why didn’t he let the stig take it round the track, it according to Clarkson would have put it a really slow time and he would have been even happier. We all know its over weight but does that really matter when 99% of ISF, RCF, even LFA drivers are not going to track there cars.
  20. FOR SALE Lexus RCF, excellent condition, low millage, only problem is it wont go sideways round a track, offers.
  21. i don't think it matters how good it is, Jeremy Clarkson is driving it, and you know how much he likes Lexus cars (NOT). except when his ford kept breaking down and he called out Quentin Wilson in his LS400 to come and rescue him on more than one occation.
  22. My new baby waiting for collection next week Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  23. This has happened to me once or twice, I don’t know if you have your seat going partially or fully back but because the seat will stop moving if you put any pressure on it, if you start getting out of the car before the seat has moved back to its full position the seat will stop which means when you get back in the car the seat is not in its correct starting position, but as others have said just push your pre set button and it will move to its correct position.
  24. I have never been charged for a loan car, or had to pay anything for insurance,
