  1. I think if you look closely they are not the same at the standard LC wheels.
  2. sorry can only make a suggestion on No 1, have you tried fading to the rear, this should bring the sub more into play which should give you a better base,
  3. you can normally buy a hard wiring kit with most dash cam's, its extra of course, you may also have to pay extra for the SD card and polarisers, so make sure you take this into account when comparing different dash cam prices. If you have basic electrical tools / experience you can fit it your self, I had the Thinkware U1000 fitted professionally, yes it was £580 inc (£120 fitting ) total not cheep, but the 4K front and 2K rear images are amazingly clear and i my opinion you need a good clear image if anything happens otherwise what's the point in having one also to me parking mode was important. this of course in not to say a cheep on will not give you a good image.
  4. I hope your insurance company don't find out, your premium will sky rocket
  5. I never had a problem with the RC-F the 3 years i had it although the mirrors did make a all fall noise when they moved out, so i did turn of that feature, admittedly when the weather was really bad i used my run around car, I will have the added problem with the LC of the door handle icing up and not popping out.
  6. yep i have GPS on as well but still had to manually change the clock
  7. I brought two of this, one for me and the other for my daughter, i have used it once on next doors van and it worked perfectly. you can get different sizes for various size engines, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MXKJTJT/ref=pe_3187911_189395841_TE_dp_1
  8. The LC is the same, so either walk round the car multiple times with a drying towel or https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/bigboi/blowr-buddi-car-and-motorcycle-dryer.aspx I am very happy with mine.
  9. with that sort of mileage in 4 years i would think its a company / reps car, with a lot of motorway driving. i wouldn't worry about the battery, its not used much at motorway cruising speed. as long as it has been well maintained / serviced, preferably by a main dealership and the price reflects the high millage it may be wort a look. Depending on were the car is you may find a member on hear who can go and have a look for you, and report back saving you a trip.
  10. my 2012 450h f sport had this, it came with the upgraded ML system, so i would think its the same for the GS-F.
  11. it says model year 2016, so does that mean its just been sitting around for 3 years before it has been registered?.
  12. I have just had my 2 year, full service. £505 with club discount ( £ 319 last year for interim service )
  13. well mine has
  14. not sure about the charging, i left mine for a month without starting it and it was fine. as for the jack i have one in the boot, there are two compartments in the boot, one with the battery and the second one with the jack and a couple of tools.
  15. I am still waiting for replacement pads for my LC.
  16. Lexus UK had a Blue one i assume they still have it.
  17. I don't think scrotes would have the equipment to even get into your car, as for the professional thieves, they have targeted you car for a reason so moving on to the next target is not really a option unless they have a line up of cars to choose from, most cars stolen by the professionals are stolen to order and they are at least going to have a quick go at removing any deterrent you have so they will be all ready be in your car and with all the expensive equipment they have i can't see a crook lock causing then to much of a problem.
  18. Well iam not to sure about that https://www.businessinsider.com/locked-tesla-stolen-30-seconds-london-signal-relay-2019-8?r=US&IR=T&utm_content=bufferda727&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-ti&fbclid=IwAR06adcp4OeQbXNKgK3xxCuu69GxxMNd_oqi_4W0Yis-y6FuFefcaVnoqhw just put your keys, including your spare in a faraday pouch, problem solved for £2.99
  19. As others have said, you shouldn't get a jolt when it changes gear when in Auto, but if you have it in sports +, and in manual and you're giving it some stick then the gear changes can be a bit, i think the word is snappy. As for the 10 gears, the last four are for economy, on a recent trip to Portsmouth, 200 mile round trip i got 32 m.p.g, Ok i was driving at around 65/70 m.p.h, with the cruse control on for 70% of the trip, and no traffic jams, pretty amazing i think.
  20. As far as i am aware they have already got replacement pads for the RC-F, my LC has the same squealing problem but for some reason the pads for the RC-F are not the same part number as the LC and i have been told that Lexus are looking into the problem and replacement pads should be available for the LC around September.
  21. if the car is worth a lot less than £44 in three years but you want to keep it, give it back and then buy it back for less, that's what i may do.
  22. Matt the Red LC500 is my car, I have used Ultimate Finnish for my past two cars, i don't own a GS-F. https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-care-blog/new-car-protection/lexus-rc-f-born-on-fuji-speedway-protected-at-brands-hatch/https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-care- blog/new-car-protection/lexus-lc-500-v8/?utm_source=LexusOwnersClubUK&utm_medium=ForumLinks I have been very happy with not only the result of the car but they're expertise and honesty when it come to the protection they advise. I asked for the seats to be protected in my RC-F, they had already quoted me a price for the car and seats but when i went to pick the car up they told me that the seats already had protection on them, which they could have easily had still charged me and i would have been nun the wizer. Mention my name and car and you may get 10%off, or they might add 20% on.lol.
  23. That colour is Sonic Red the same colour as mine, i looked at the Ochre but found it a bit too much for me, ( i also used a demo for a few weeks with Ochre and found the reflection from the top of the dash onto the windscreen wan quite bad especially on a sunny days ) i went for Black, yes boring i know although with all the different materials used there are different contrasts, sorry not a very good photo.
  24. in the US you can take your car in and they will change the pads for you, they have a TSB for this, but not here in the UK, yet, but they will for the RC-F, which i would have thought would of had the same brakes as the LC, but apparently not.
  25. How many miles have you done Ben?, mine only started at around the 2300 mile mark, plus the screeching is coming from the front wheels, but who knows.
