just a cheap glasses repair set but like wendle says just try opticians or watch repairers first.
-
May be worth replacing the batteries in the fobs. It doesnt take much to power the light but there may just be too little power left to unlock the car. Ive had this before.
-
No steam or anything?

This is the kind of post that I read, "mutter to myself abit" but dont post back what Im thinking lol :winky:
-
Perfectly fine as said already chap
-
Its up to you chap. I had to re open mine back up due to misting. I then bought a specific headlight sealant made by nissan but it is £28 per roll but it easily does both headlights. I managed to get mine from a chap off eBay and paid £15. I still have some left but not enough. Are you thinking of painting the lights black aswell? Also if you buy them lights that i have linked to, the inverters they sent me werent powerful enough so I had one bright ring and one was dim, but they were very very helpful and sent me out new ones. So I would imagine they should have changed all of the kits to suit. Best to check before installation though.

Good man! Im sure it wont be a purchase you regret. Welcome

Sounds to me like there are two factors here. Either the altenator isnt charging the Battery like it should ( I know you mentioned this already but best check anyway. Try and find someone with a multimeter) or like you said something is draining the Battery overnight. Again find someone with a multimeter to see what happens when you lock the car as you would at night, see how much current is being drawn. Is the car standard or does it have an aftermarket alarm fitted for example?
Im not an auto electrician but i am an electrician and this is what i would check first.
Hope this helps.
sorry if not.
Ill carry on thinking ;)
Somebody on here will know though

Cant halep with your problem mate but welcome anyhow!

I would do them for you mate but im in nottingham. Im sure you could do them yourself, you just need to do the research on these forums and take your time. I was thinking in the same way as you before I did it, but looking backdont know why i did.

It's amazing when you run your hand over the paint before and after, it leaves a glass like finish!
Exactly, I was abit dubious at first so I was one happy chappy when I ran my hand over it for the first time.
Cheers for the advice aswell

Welcome to the club.

I have these in red. Mega easy to fit. Not to everyones taste but i like them.
-
RIP mate you will be missed greatly

As above Ive just used Swissvax clay bar and spray and WOW im mega impressed. only ever used the normal way of washing and waxing. Ive had it in my car for ages but never got round to using it. The lex has literally a smooth mirror finish now. I do have one question though.
Are you supposed to put some sort of sealer on after or just ordinary wax?
-
Done it now and ended up with a mouth full of petrol in the process lol

would be good to start a new topic to follow the installation of the turbo.

hi mate and welcome.
Calipers are notorious for seizing up. they area around a sticking caliper will be much hotter than at the other wheels.
Absolutely great cars though. cant fault them apart from they could do with a tad more power.
-
ahhh the old seized is200 caliper.
It should have its own section on this forum lol

are you being serious or not?
