Yes, I think that was a beautiful example. They rarely come up for sale on this forum but like buying most cars it's best not to rush too much. By all accounts the 460 can be hard on suspension components so something to be aware of, it has a chain rather than a cambelt which is good so listen for front end rattles on a high mileage car. History is key really, ideally main dealer. If you find something post on here in case it's a known car.

I guess asking what your budget is may help with some answers.
  3. Looks like Rock have shocks for about £40 each before vat and shipping.
  4. Have you got a radiator cap on yours? It seems that they are being produced without them now but I'm sure they're compatible either way. Sounds a bit drastic cutting the seat open but it may help to release the vandal in you!
  5. I did buy one at one time from ECP but again it needed adapting and it really isn't ideal. I don't know why most available here are for the US/Japanese models but that's where a main dealer would be best. Either way it's an easy job.
  6. I see. One of mine does it on the soft close when it gets cold. I'm afraid I don't know what would cause it without taking it apart which I haven't done yet. Hopefully someone will offer advice but as it's not such a common issue it may be difficult to get the answer you need.
  7. In due course Malc will give you his experience with AF which may convince you of the direction you should take!
  8. Welcome to the LOC, and don't tell the others because they won't agree, but the LS 430 is the best of the bunch! 😁
  9. Hmm, I quite like the MK3, although by the time I got to own the MK4 I thought everything had been perfected.
  10. We do seem to get this idea that online items from China are somehow duff, strange really because most electrical gadgets and other items bought in the high street shops are Chinese and we do that regularly!
  11. That reminds me of this picture I posted nearly 10 years ago commenting on the fine rear end of my MK2
