  1. Yes, I changed the wheels on my MK4 LS400 for something "more modern" and lower profile, after driving a short distance I quickly put the originals back on!
  2. This is unfortunately one of the pitfalls of buying from abroad, the packaging gets thrown around so many times. My order from Rock which arrived last week had a couple of spark plugs completely out of their boxes, thankfully not damaged.
  3. I've replaced two LS430 rads using Koyo which seem fine, although Nissens are good. The all important point is to be sure you get one with the nozzle at the end which connects the small hose to the expansion tank, the ones without are for the US/Japanese market like mine. As far as the oil cooler hoses go, I replaced mine and I used jubilee clips but really good quality stainless steel ones, the cheaper ones I wouldn't trust. I also bought 5 litres of Toyota ready mixed red coolant. Changing the radiator is a piece of cake, especially if you're fitting new cooler hoses, that means you can do it all from above. The foam between the rad and AC condenser will disintegrate but I would just discard it. The whole job can be done in about an hour.
  4. I guess we knew all along that Lord Lucan had class and hiding in your car proves it, although I can't imagine the chip is his, croquettes maybe..look further.
  5. If you don't find them at SGS I'd go for the pair of new ones on eBay for £15 the pair, I bet they'd be fine.
  6. And does the car feel any different or just like it did with the original wheels? I assume you've kept to 18"
  7. They look excellent, and as you say a bit like the original style but sharper, good job. Did you need spacers? It's amazing how wheels can really lift a car, I put these IS wheels on mine, it totally transforms it I think.
  8. SGS have them for £36 each, as far as I remember genuine parts are something like £200 each!
