  1. Thanks Neil, looking forward to it! We're all fine and dandy, just being sensible but can't wait for things to be relatively normal.
  2. Neil, I shall look forward to being chauffered along the A27 again when we're allowed out to play! Lovely rare car, is it the same engine as the LS460 with a timing chain?
  3. I'm sure this has been covered in the past but I can't find much info. The HID dipped bulbs are excellent but the main beam is always like the second pressing of the grape, has anyone tried different bulbs, if so any links? Ta.
  4. On mine it's at the front of the bonnet, generally the sticker looks like this.
  5. Interesting stuff, good to see you persevering. I can't remember if you mentioned this in a previous post but has the all important cam belt been replaced? It's 10 years or 100k, I'm guessing if its had Lexus servicing then it has.
  6. I think you'll find most Lexus cars are like this, mine is and so was my GS.
  7. Wow, you've certainly got patience! It might be worth contacting Paul Frost as he breaks LS's, lexussparesdirect, not to be confused with Lexus parts direct!
  8. I had the same with the AA, been a member since 1983 and called them about 5 times over those years. They give you absolutely nothing for being a "loyal" customer. Now I'm with GEM, much cheaper and no price rise this year, plus their app can track me if necessary.
  9. An easy job, don't waste time with trying to repair it, just replace the complete assembly. As long as you've got a stopcock that turns the water off without letting water by you should have no problem. Some of the older stopcocks, especially the brass ones have a habit of not turning the water off fully!
  10. That's why I say I would choose the original setup, it's what the engineers at Toyota designed.
