  1. By big I mean compared to earlier Supras, or maybe just being red made it seem big, and it looks quite wide. I realise it's more or less a BMW in disguise but seeing it in the flesh I thought it looked brilliant. Eye of the beholder and all that! It's a shame most concept cars are sanitised before they hit production. I still want one though, especially as I've always liked the Z4!
  2. I was behind one today and then got level with it, what a fantastic looking car. Is it just me or is it better looking than any Lexus model including the LC500? It looked really big as well compared to previous models. I want one!

    Oily soot!

I don't think it's anything to be too concerned about but keep an eye on the power steering pump and pipes. And I believe the 4 litre Soarer shared the 1uzfe.
  4. I think the roads are worse now than they've ever been. I wouldn't dare to relax at the wheel any more for fear of biting my own tongue when I drive over a crater.
  5. When I contacted Lexus Parts Direct I was quoted £1,114 for a pair of front UCA's, so I went for a pair from Rockauto which cost £93 including parts, taxes and shipping. I also bought lower control arms with new bushings and lower ball joints. These weren't the cheapest they had, I was going by reviews. I understand the concerns over aftermarket but you can tell by the quality of the casting these are good parts, plus CNC machining. I also know about the suing culture in the US so that gives me more confidence when buying from them as opposed to an unknown seller on eBay. I also know that Moog (the parts manufacturer) has a good reputation. It's a really easy job to fit all of these parts as well, they just need torquing correctly.
  6. I didn't know you could retro fit one!
  7. I love the Nissan GTR. Mind you don't get that beard caught in your polisher!!
  8. I guess so, although I've never considered considered mine gas guzzlers but then I only do about 4k a year.
  9. The GS is a car I had just after my last LS 430 and although not as long it still took up most of my drive. Have you not considered a facelift LS430? They're easy to work on and many say the ride is better than the 460.
  10. I love the colour! Now what are HUD's?
  11. I've not driven the GS450h but I read great things about them, the acceleration is amazing! Also having had the GS300 I know the cabin is a nice place to be, it's still a big car.
