  1. I really don't believe the air suspension offers anything over springs. In fact, after having two LS400's and then changing to a 430 with air I felt the ride was harder. Then I bought another LS430 and it was the same. They all have double wishbone suspension, that's what helps give a good ride. Mine now has springs and I think it's just as good as before but without the potential issues.
  2. If I wasn't so stupid, and always wanted the biggest car I could get, the IS250 would be the car I'd buy, I constantly read great comments about them. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you find a good one. Also, if you're looking to get say a 2007 model or there abouts, it's still a great looking car in 2021.
  3. A friend has the convertible version of the IS250 and I can remember remarking on the feel of quality, not sure I felt the same about another friends BMW!
  4. The shock must have valving inside as there's a sensor/controller that plugs into the top of each unit.
  5. Oh yes, I never knew that!
  6. Aqua Marina was the puppet beauty in Stingray, and oxygum enabled the characters to chew their way underwater. I've tried it with Wrigley's but I can confirm it doesn't work, only oxygum will do it!
  7. Twizzle had amazing arms and legs that lengthened to enable him to, well, reach things! The next thing is you'll be saying you don't remember Aquamarina and oxygum!!
  8. I guess the issue here is that we're (mostly) talking Lexus. I had two LS400's, arguably the finest car Lexus ever built, followed by two LS430's with air, and in my experience the non air was comparable or better.
  9. The normal height for the rear is 27-27.5" from the ground to the wheel arch, that's the centre line.
  10. I do remember when I bought my first LS400 that the previous owner said he replaced a couple of window switches because they were slow. If the silicone doesn't work it may be worth a try as they are cheap and easy to replace.
