  1. I do remember when I bought my first LS400 that the previous owner said he replaced a couple of window switches because they were slow. If the silicone doesn't work it may be worth a try as they are cheap and easy to replace.
  2. Thanks for that, I'll test it and see what it puts out. The wiring does join with the tweeter and the satnav and front parking sensors and phone all come through that one speaker.
  3. I couldn't agree more about air suspension. The ones I've had with air have been no better than springs. In fact the springs I have now give the same comfortable ride as when it was on air in my opinion, just without the potential headache!
  4. Colin, maybe you can answer my question as well. My Volvo has a similar issue, the driver's door speaker works, just, but the sound is quiet and tinny like a tweeter. I've connected a good speaker to it but it's the same. So should I get a similar reading of around 4 ohms if I use a multimeter?
  5. Interesting, I've never come across that one before.
  6. Welcome to the LOC. I'm really glad you're enjoying the experience, and unlike other brands you can be confident it won't let you down!
  7. Nice car, lovely colour! Welcome to the LOC!
  8. My wife doesn't remember any of them and she's a year older than me!
  9. I was having a conversation like this with my brother and sister this week and I can't believe they don't remember most of the stuff I do, I'm 68 and they're a bit older but don't remember Supercar, Torchy the battery boy, Twizzle, and Four Feather Falls!!
  10. If that had appeared in my part of the world I may have been very tempted, I'm considering selling my Celsior and my Volvo estate and just having one vehicle, the Lexus RX is on the top of my list. Apart from the practicalities of having just one car we've just adopted a large Greyhound so the extra height would be good.
