  1. Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm loving owning my first ever Honda, it's such a pleasure to drive. Obviously I miss the Celsior but as its gone to a good home it makes me feel much better. I've sold my Volvo as well so I'm a one car owner again, the first time in several years. I got to learn so much about the Celsior/LS430, such an easy car to work on, I hope Honda are similar should I need to!
  2. Chip hasn't been in it yet but he will on Sunday as we'll be going on a Greyhound walk. He says why doesn't everyone make a fuss of me like Steve did!
  3. As a couple of you were asking, here are the new-ish wheels. Not a Lexus but still Japanese, although made in Swindon! Top of the range so all very nice, and a pleasure to drive. I seriously considered the RX but it just didn't have enough space, and the rear load area is just too high. These are the dealers pictures.
  4. I do like it when it all goes off topic and my favourite subject being food takes over!
  5. I've never understood the system. My neighbour has an 11 reg diesel Ford Focus and the tax is £20, how does that work, unless he's telling porkies.
  6. I'm glad Santa granted your wish, it took him long enough!
  7. When bought my GS a few years ago it came with a glossy warranty pack, when I tried to make a claim for a worn ball joint they told me its only covered if it fails!
  8. Ok, I'll post some picks in the next couple of days, I'd better not hijack this post though!
  9. My delivery would have been £180, a fair amount to loose if I wasn't happy!
  10. Yes, a 2015 CR-V. I tried the 2 litre petrol one locally and it was absolutely gutless, so a friend drove me up to Burton on Trent this morning and I bought the 2.2 diesel, so much more power. I really enjoyed the drive home, it's top spec with leather and all the toys. Just as importantly, plenty of headroom for a tall Greyhound!
  11. It's always difficult when a particular model/colour you're after comes up for sale and it's nowhere near home, which always seems to happen. On Tuesday I paid a deposit on a car in Staffordshire and I live in Sussex, I went to see it today and drove it home. The thing is I very nearly bought it on the strength of the dealers video and had it delivered which would have meant paying in full before hand, not a comfortable feeling parting with 12k before you see the goods in the flesh!
  12. Thanks for that, much appreciated! I did try a petrol one yesterday but it was so gutless. I've decided on a 2015 2.2 diesel after reading lots of reviews, it's top of the range with all the gizmos and full Honda history. I've paid a deposit so hopefully tomorrow I'll be driving it home.
