  1. I'm going for the new Poundland car, it's called the Pence 100, cheap and nasty, but better than walking home....just.
  2. Sad news but it has to come sometime. I've just parted with what will be my last ever Lexus. It was a good relationship, but time for a change!
  3. Is it something that suddenly appeared or gradual?
  4. The AC condensate has scared the pants off many car owners over the years, it's perfectly normal.
  5. I'm inclined to agree with you, I think a week or two, but 4k miles, I don't think Lexus will be interested unfortunately.
  6. All I can say is I've ordered loads of parts from Rockauto and the longest delivery time has been 5 days. As has been said, choose FedEx economy and Vat will be added and you'll have nothing else to pay. It's worth bearing in mind that shipping goes by weight, so things like brake discs aren't worth it due to being so heavy. You can place the order and put your details in to see how much the total is but you don't need to complete the order if the price doesn't work out as an effective option to UK ordering. As an example, I bought 8 Denso Iridium plugs, Denso cabin and air filter, with delivery, less than half UK price.
  7. I would seriously consider buying complete struts from Rockauto in the US, you can buy them complete and ready to fit.
  8. It my experience of Lexus steering wheel motors (they have two) the squealing often precedes failure of a motor. It may be worth spraying some silicone lubricant around the mechanism to see if it helps but I would expect a motor is telling you its had enough. I've always been convinced that the motors fail mostly because it's convenient to grab the steering wheel getting out of the car, and because it moves fairly slowly a lot of pressure is put on the motors.
