  1. I had the same problem with my LS430. Occasionally it would work but mostly no sound. I'm sure it's just the age of the technology, an iPhone paired with what is essentially an 18 year old Bluetooth system.
  2. Looks nice! Personally I like the black interior, I had it in two LS400's and found it really easy to look after. Only 89k, you'll need to run it in before you get too old!
  3. What an excellent video, apart from wondering how many accidents happen!
  4. Me too, maybe the knighthood is for playing a major part in starting an unwinnable war! so he could be knighted for playing the fool so well, in which case it's well deserved!
  5. I thought everyone had given him advice, and very good advice at that. Plus he's made an excellent choice by going for a Corolla.
  6. The Mazda 6 is a great car, and in my opinion better looking than a Lexus!
  7. Not so, I neutralised it with concentrated mint sauce! A strange old world, 9 months on and I'm being offered far more for my Honda than I paid for it, that's never happened before!
  8. The 15 mins was the application, obviously with any rust treatment the preparation is the most time consuming.
  9. It happened on a friend's IS250, no camera, so I gave it a gentle "wack" around the camera area and its been fine ever since. It seems they can suffer with poor connections/soldering.
  10. Lanoguard is an unusual product in that it's a by-product of sheep, ie lanolin. It doesn't smell unpleasant, just slightly farm yard! It doesn't make the mess that waxy products make and comes with a trigger gun making it easy to access all areas. I did the whole of mine in 15mins. Lots of YouTube videos showing it.
  11. Earlier this year I bought a 6 year old Honda and I wanted to give the underneath a rust treatment so I used something called Lanoguard. It's worth looking it up, it's very easy to apply and isn't toxic.
  12. Beautiful!
  13. I see, I didn't see the error! Well, Christams I'm guessing are a unique group claiming to be Christian/Muslims, so maybe they argue much at Christmas!!🤭
  14. How can it be a Christian fundamentalist offshoot when Christmas was the beginning of Christianity?
  15. Excellent video. As he says, it's all down to personal preference. I've had a GS but not a Legend. From the video I prefer the look of the Honda interior but the Lexus exterior. I wonder if a non hybrid GS would have been more comparable.
  16. You may we'll get your "Brum Brum" in the future. According to a December article in the Economist the population of India is in decline, and no longer at replacement level, the same goes for Japan and much of Europe!⏳
  17. As usual I would go straight to Rockauto who will sell you a Denso sensor for far less than a main dealer would, and even with shipping and taxes you would save so much.
  18. Strange that, I was convinced Benny Hill was dead!
  19. KYB are original equipment for most of the Lexus range, at least on the earlier vehicles, including air suspension.
  20. You could try something like this.
  21. 50k is still amazing, you must be about run in by now!
  22. Usually the holes in the shield get bigger due to corrosion so the remedy is simply putting big washers on
  23. Annoyingly, on my regular dog walk, a guy has a V reg LS400 which means I get to covet it on most days. I think I've also mentioned in the past that another local person has an X reg 400, he said he bought it from new and it has never gone wrong! Whatever anyone may say, apart from possibly the earlier VW beetle, there really isn't a more reliable car out there, and just as importantly, it's still silent luxury! Apart from a 69 Chevy, the only cars I've ever stupidly regretted selling have been Lexus.
