  1. Oh no, really sorry. Just be thankful you weren't in a small car.
  2. Interestingly I saw lots of Tesla's on my recent Austrian road trip, far more than here, in fact I'd go as far as saying they were a common sight.
  3. I agree. My last LS had all invoices present which gave me much confidence. I know a guy who runs a motor business and will gladly lend you the stamp and say fill you're own details in, so yes, a stamp alone doesn't mean much. My current GS has every Lexus stamp but not a single invoice.
  4. Oh yes, after looking at the list I'll add a Mustang to my wish I had list, an early one of course!
  5. Interesting article, it states the Lexus GS as its closely related sibling. If money was no object I'd like a Toyota Crown, but then I'd like a Nissan GTR or a Chevrolet Corvette and many other cars that I can't afford.
  6. I think a wiser use of that kind of money (apart from giving it to me) would be to buy one of the exceptional LS's that do occasionally come up, or maybe a early 2000 Toyota Crown. Speaking of which, some of the later Crowns look amazing. How about this 2015 beauty.
  7. I mean, why would anyone even do that, as if you could improve on an LS. Unless of course it was made into an estate, then I'd be interested!
  8. Even Stevie would see the horror of that!
  9. Looking forward to the photos. The knock, as I've discovered, could be a multitude of things. Hopefully it'll be something simple, good luck with it.
  10. Don't quote me on this but I'm sure I read about a member doing this job and just re routing the pipe and leaving the old in place where it wasn't accessible. I never used the drinks cooler in either of mine so I would have been happy to cap the rear off if I had had a problem. I'm sure as suggested you'll be able to find somewhere that will do the work. A good diagram of the pipework will help, someone here will be able to help with that I'm sure.
  11. Not David's brother then? So it should be a decent buy.
  12. Congratulations! We'd all love pictures of course. Do the bushes creak or is it a knock?
  13. I slight snag there, guess who does most of the ironing and the cooking in our house? I think the promise of a trip to Ireland might do it though. I think in reality Stuart's words of wisdom must prevail.....for now!
  14. I guess so. Mine had all the bells and whistles with massaging/reclining seats etc. They were certainly heated although, I never got to enjoy the back! I do get the horrible feeling that I'm already getting the itch for one again, but how on earth would I explain that to my wife!
  15. The LS 400 has a stainless system whereas the 430 doesn't. Either way a good exhaust specialist would repair or replace for much less than a main dealer. Let us know how you get on.
  16. I like the way you say GS's at the moment!
  17. Looking forward to hearing the news (and seeing the photos) which will only make me ask why I parted with mine!
  18. I can just see you now wafting along that lovely scenic road to Dingle Bay!
  19. I had it on my LS after being left for a week or so without starting, never had it before or after.
