  1. But I noticed a couple of days ago Lexuslegend was boldly advertising an LS430 under his old name. Maybe it's still there, I haven't checked.
  2. Not in the back but it does have TV in the front, at least that's not dangerous! That all gets controlled from the main console. It's obviously an aftermarket fitting.
  3. My Celsior came with this thing! I've no idea what it is but someone out there may know.
  4. I think it's a beautiful car, I've never seen one that looks so black! They have a ramp so ask if they can put it up for you. Also it was on the first floor and boxed in like mine so arrange for a test drive so they can get it down before you go, that'll save a separate trip like I had to make. David is the guy who runs the place, he's quite helpful but won't rush you or try to persuade you. He'll also tell you the Japanese auction grading for interior and exterior condition which helps. I'm chuffed to bits with mine.
  5. I bought my Celsior from them last month with 62k. The 2001 Celsior was sitting next to mine and it looked so good I was very tempted. That's assuming you're referring to the black one? I know they have a silver one with silly low miles but it's way overpriced. The black one is stunning and with chrome dhp wheels almost had me! It's only the fact that I wanted the facelift model that stopped me. An import from Japan is the way to go if you want low milage and no rust.
  6. I'm sure it's great under the skin but to me it just looks like a Nissan Juke and all the others.
  7. Sorry Matt, Connor and me have hijacked your post a bit! I'm assuming the bush in my photo is this one, but without taking the wheel off again I'm not sure. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FITS-LEXUS-LS430-CELSIOR-00-06-FRONT-LOWER-WISHBONE-TRACK-CONTROL-ARM-BUSH-x1/201027574572?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D90fdb6f830c14482be48bcf14dd28638%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D263526071370%26itm%3D201027574572&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A18519cbc-c3c7-11e8-b162-74dbd180e38d|parentrq%3A2495374e1660ac8032549405fff63038|iid%3A1
  8. That's a good question. I only did the discs yesterday so it's a job to get priced up this coming week. I'm not sure yet but looking at parts available it seems at least that this bush is possible to buy as a separate item, but I could be wrong.
  9. I've just been fitting new discs and pads on the front of my Celsior and I couldn't help noticing the LCA bushes look a bit sad. Surprising how a lump of rubber can transform a car!
  10. That's interesting. The reason I ask is that when I had my GS and was driving at speed in Germany there was always a slight vibration when I decelerated which I thought felt like a mount. I never noticed it at "normal" speeds.
  11. What a difference! Just out of interest, did you find that as you took your foot off the accelerator there was a brief vibration?
  12. A bit obvious maybe but make sure you reverse the sequence for turning off the screen otherwise you won't know if it's fixed!
  13. After having a used strut fitted a couple of weeks ago the ride has gone from what I thought was good to even better. Because the guy who did it is so quick and efficient, and very familiar with the LS, it's beginning to make a lot of sense to just replace with used parts (if and when it's necessary) and keep the original setup. I think the key is to have a mechanic who is competent with Lexus but fairly priced. Thankfully with a recommendation from Neil, a fellow member, I seem to have found such a person. To remove the rear seat and replace the strut for £75 labour I thought was excellent.
  14. The LC looks superb whereas the BMW looks a bit like, well, a BMW.
  15. Interesting. I bought my Celsior in Purfleet which meant paying for the crossing 6 times in all, £15!
  16. Come on Martin, you know it's just a matter of time before you're back in a V8, you may as well get it over with. I only lasted 6 months.
  17. An underrated car in my opinion, and some of the very latest ones look superb. What a shame they ended production.
