  1. I ordered a boot spoiler from the US, ordered on a Friday, delivered the following Tuesday!
  2. Welcome to the LOC Andrew, we'll certainly know if it's you coming!
  3. So annoying, and as you say, upsetting. After watching the literal daylight theft of car parts on Rip Off Britain I'm not surprised.
  4. Sad to say the above is correct and only the early ones would survive what has happened.
  5. Wow, that's unbelievable! I can't help thinking that's every bit as dangerous as speeding or dangerous driving and should incur points on their license.
  6. I certainly wouldn't have a realignment after replacing drop links, no need.
  7. I got my Denso wipers from ECP in their last sale, and because they are car specific they fit my LS perfectly without any fiddly adapters. I have tried Bosch in the past but I haven't found a "direct" fit, so it'll always be Denso for me.
  8. Hard to tell from the picture but I would have thought the alternator would be earthed when it's fixed in position. If there is a separate earth cable needed then any bolt/screw in the body will surely do.
  9. I think naming good companies is all part of a helpful forum if it helps other members.
  10. Interesting. I don't feel there's anything wrong with mine, and most of the time it's fine, it just feels firmer on some uneven surfaces. So if there is something in this, would Toyota have a different shock absorber for the domestic market, or are they the same but programmable I wonder?
  11. It's only a minor thing and I may just be imaging things because it glides on straight roads.
  12. So what is their product and did they give you any prices?
  13. Ta, I guess it's pretty much the same engine as my mk4 and I remember that being easy enough. You'll love a European drive in it, we did Austria in mine in May and it was brilliant. The chances of seeing another one are slim!
  14. Just out of interest how easy was it to replace the plugs? I've done an LS400 but not a 430.
  15. It sounds like some component isn't doing its job of damping which may point to a bush, that's assuming the other steering/suspension joints are ok, although if Lexus looked they should have spotted something.
  16. Well done, I remember some time ago a member replacing the transmission mount and the difference in height was really surprising.
  17. Thanks gentlemen, I guess the answer may come by phoning Lexus. The reason I ask is that (and it may be my imagination) I feel in the year that I've had my Celsior the ride is just slightly harder than my previous one, and I have heard that cars made in Japan destined for the UK have our roads taken into account when building them.
  18. This is not something I'd try myself as I think it's fairly complicated but does anyone know if the ride with air suspension can be made firmer or softer using the Techstream software?
  19. Being 👃 nosey, where did you find it, and what's the mileage, and did you px the other one, and will you put a transmission cooler on or just leave it?
  20. So did you buy a pre or a facelift LS?
  21. Soooooo many pictures! Just out of interest, I'm assuming you cleaned the hub mating surfaces with a wire brush before the new discs went on? Just a slight amount of rust/dirt preventing a good connection can cause a wobble as I discovered myself.
