  1. Any pictures, it's not one I'm familiar with.
  2. The same fuel as the 400 is fine, it's all I've ever used, but I do avoid supermarket petrol.
  3. I watched a BMW being wrapped a few years ago and there were some cuts with sharp blades, whether that would be a problem I don't know, but personally I wouldn't feel too comfortable buying a wrapped one if I wasn't 100% sure what was underneath. Just my opinion of course.
  4. What a money pit, I think you should sell it while you can, better still dump it down a country lane somewhere.
  5. Hi there stranger! How are things? I assumed that as the website no longer mentions Lexus specialist that Leigh had moved on, good news then!
  6. If only I'd known, you could have thrown all your other stuff out of your suitcase and filled it with my heavy suspension!😁
  7. I've mentioned this before in the LS forum, I ordered 4 new air struts from Rockauto on a Monday, and they were delivered by FedEx mid morning on Friday, plus the tracking was excellent....and perhaps sadly interesting!
  8. I didn't know you could get one that plugs into the OBD port, nice one, I'll have to invest myself!
  9. Grove garage are still going, they moved premises some time ago, and although they still are a Powerflow exhaust specialist, I notice they no longer say Toyota/Lexus specialist so maybe they've changed hands.
  10. I agree with Malc, it's best done by someone who has done it before. I've recently bought a Gates kit for mine, belt, idler, tensioner and water pump for £180. I'm having mine done on the 12th by someone who has done them before (and for some reason enjoys doing them) all for £150 labour. Not doing the pump is false economy as a failed pump can take out the belt, and the engine with it. eBay seller called carpartsinmotion, delivered within 18 hours!
  11. Too late I fear!
  12. Just out of interest, what's the issue with black leather? My first two Lexus cars had it and it was just so easy to look after and disguise any marks. My GS has cream leather and it was much harder to keep on top of it.
  13. I'd love one of those, a beautiful machine. The only setback being the doors didn't open do I'm not sure I'd manage to slip in and out through the open window anymore!
  14. Before I put these on eBay I thought I'd see if anyone wants them for a bargain price. These are my original Celsior wheels with 4 excellent Bridgestone tyres. One had slightly more wear on the outside edge before I had my wheel alignment done. They've done approximately 9k from new. No centre caps as I've put them on the new wheels but they are a standard size so plain ones are easy to get and cheap. Tidy enough but a refurb would help. £150, the tyres alone are surely worth that. These are 6 spoke as opposed to the prefacelift which are 7 and facelift being 5. Bear in mind they are 17" though.
  15. Same with me, no sunroof. Not a bad thing either as I never use one and it's one thing less to cause problems!
  16. Everyone will have a different opinion. Landsail are budget tyres but I do know they are a good budget tyre. For years now I've bought Avons, I find them not only quiet, but brilliant wet grip. Like I say, we've all got our own tyre stories.
  17. Ta, just like the LS430 then. I must say the 6 speed transmission is very nice and does improve MPG a smidgen.
  18. Neil, what were the changes made on the facelift model?
  19. If you have your paint code there are various sellers on eBay. I bought one and it's actually very good.
  20. It's really frustrating, and there is very little excuse. When I recently ordered my cam belt kit it arrived in about 18 hours after I placed the order, so it can certainly be done.
  21. I couldn't agree more, it'll be a great car for the lucky buyer.
