    Always best to use FedEx Mike, that way the duty is prepaid and it'll arrive within a week. I fitted the first control arm and Ball joint this morning, not too bad a job. Over 30 degrees now so the other side can wait until the morning.

    I'm going to get it up on axle stands in the morning and assess it. If I think I can be bothered I'll start straightaway, failing that I'll get it booked on for next week sometime.

    Personally I wouldn't go to Halfords and certainly not KF, find a decent tyre and wheel specialist.

    Very unlikely you would have a shock leak so bad you'd see oil on the floor, the usual first sign is oil misting down the length of it, that's often an MOT advisory.

    You're lucky to have any rain, down here in Sussex the ground is dry and cracked. Good for my tomatoes though! I've generally found the BBC site to be bordering on useless.

    Iv'e got these parts on order, lower front control arms and lower ball joints, and I may fit them myself if time allows. Has anyone else done them, and was it fairly straighforward? Looking at the Rockauto site I wish I had ordered new upper control arms and done it all at the same time. Not even choosing their cheapest ones they're only £158 for the pair delivered, including VAT, a very good price I think, plus a three year warranty.
