    Maybe a bit off-topic but i could see myself potentially importing the next IS from Japan 5 years down the line given they are no longer sold in European market. Right now i would love an IS500 🙄 but lack of availability and most importantly funds would hamper my attempt lol But gotta love the Japs for the work ethics 🙂

    Does anyone know how i can post Transmission/Differential oil? Ive got 4 bottles of ATF fluid (1L each) and 2 bottles of Differential oil (1L each) That i bought and never user and its outside of the 30 day accepted returns by seller. I cannot find a courier which ships it, as an example Opies uses FedEx but when you look at FedEx website it listed as prohibited. I assume Online retailers have a special contract with certain couriers that allows them to ship such fluids out. Anyone know of a method i can use to ship these out?

    Can you share an up close pic of the camera and number plate lights? Do they get obstructed in anyway?

    Can i ask what is the Microphone for? Is it not using the built-in mic? or is this specific microphone for voice commands for google/siri? So which mic is used when making phone calls?

    They will just give you the ugly UX.. i got them twice in the same colour. The spec on the first one was really nice, including heated steering wheel and wireless charging. The 2nd one was basic as them come and really disappointing.

    Mines was done last week when it went in for ball joint replacement, they did it same day and gave me 1/2 tank of petrol... Unholy E10 but not gonna complain 😂

    Yep this is for the IS 300H. Tracking was done by Lexus.

    I had tracking done this time. Actually 1st time getting done on the Lexus for me and i had the IS250 for 9 years. Anyway so for the IS300h the rear tyre was showing inner wear on both tyres, also i need new front ball-joint so they said it made sense to do the tracking after that work as carried out. I also stuck new tyres on the car the night before the repair work was due. But here is the before and after:

    I've had a few quotes for the 18" 2 of them said £200 another said £220.. thats all for wheels price is including vat I'm sure for the is250 I paid £180 back in 2021

    The oem-style finish is what i am after, mines are currently too dark for my liking during the day, at night they do look sexy lol Did you specify anything specific for the oem-finish? I cannot just request that as mines were shoddily painted by the car dealer when i bought it last Jan, apart from me scuffing all 4 wheels, the tyre fitter said the paint was shoddy that it was just flaking off when changing the tyres on sunday. How much did you pay?

    @Linas.P @tayaste Is that Phanton grey in the above pics ^^ Looks very dark in both cases, my wheels are the point of needing refurb badly. I was thinking of "Pallidum" or "Phantom Grey" but im having 2nd thoughts if the above are phantom. Sorry to bring up the old post but even using the search everyone says closet colour Phantom Grey 1E3 This is Palladium Grey:

    Nope i've never noticed anything wrong with the car, but when they plugged in the device to run the hybrid check they said there was a historic DTC showing. They cleared and it said to drive 300 miles then come back and they will do the hybrid check for free. When i looked at the paperwork it stated P3000 code. Im wondering if might have gotten triggered when i removed and cleaned the hybrid fan (wouldn't have thought so). I've still got another 200 miles to do yet, so probably looking around mid Feb before i can go bacj.

    Not yet, even today Lexus said i need to drive a min 300miles then bring the car back. On the plus side the ball joint has been replaced, geometry corrected, even give me a discount on the repairs + they carried out the recall work and added 1/2 a tank of fuel.

    I had to replace my headlight despite taking it out and drying it. I never found the source, so ended up replacing it with a new one.

    On the plus side my drive to Lexus this morning meant my MPG was back at 46mpg 🙂

    My Hybrid check failed P3000 code. They basically cleared it and said to drive 300 miles then they will retest it. Today its away for ball-joint replacement, MOT in December said it was badly disentgrated, Lexus said the was a cut in it and advised immediate replacement... They are also going to do the wheel tracking/alignment as rear tyre were showing uneven inner ear. I got new tyres yesterday too.... money money money lol

    There genuine brake pads and all new shims all round. Brakes i did back in the summer, the noise started when it went for MOT in december.

    I've been getting popping sound ever since my mot. It can be replicated by reversing and slamming brake then you get a pop/clunk and then when you do the same thing forward then it goes away until you ha e to reverse. I got rid of the noise after a week by slamming brake really hard In both directions. Noise happened again last week it was in for a service at lexus. It's going on Monday for ball joint replacement cause it had a split so I also mentioned the noise they will look while doing the work.
