I got my wife on the insurance even though she's only ever driven it once, she now has her own Clio so she won't be touching my baby lol... Mines with esure.
The irony was when I checked the comparison sites cheapest quote for some unheard company was £279... Needless to say I just quietly paid the renewal cost with the existing company
I'll probably just stick with the OEM, can't say they've ever let me down and I have seen some extreme conditions and scenarios... Also since I changed job my mileage has dropped from 14k annual to less than 5k so I'll be OK with OEM... Need to get tyres replaced there all cracking now, sad given the tyre still have tread on them.
The day I tried it, I went to do the one located under the intake pipe, I moved the fuse box as per ur guide but I still found very little room to work with, but will have a go again once weather improves
Anytips for ppl with goriila hands such as myself? I did attempt to change them once, but lack of space and my hand size prevented it, I have since bought the 22mm sensor socket and got a really long torx wrench so will attempt again when I have time but any advice would be appreciated.
Hey Exdee,
The seller i bought from sold out, another seller selling it slightly cheaper: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DENSO-234-9051-Fuel-To-Air-Ratio-Sensor-/300792424528?hash=item4608a02850
again based in the US.
It's worth it trust me.....
Our American friends have been doing this for a while now, all say it has amazing sound results.
I had initially ordered the dry filter and joez intake pipe, but after ready in the US forums about simply modding the intake box to match the f-sport intake box you could achieve a nice deep growl sound above 3000 rpm and it was true so i cancelled the order for the joez pipe and dry filter..
I have a nice sounding car without have to declare it as mod to the insurance company.
Added a deeper throatier sound to the car intake without actually upgrading/changing anything.
Just cut the extra hole on the normal intake box to match f-sport intake box as per:

I finally did it last night, I clayed her :)
1. Snow foamed car in thick foam
2. Washed car
3. Again snow foamed each panel and used it as a lubricant and used the G3 clay mitt
4. Dried car
5. Applied coat of PTFE wax
6. It bloody rained last night! Lol
But man the body is smooth as a mirror when you glide your fingers over her :) highly highly recommend the clay mitt, even my nephew was begging me to do his car lol
In a guilty confession I bought my cłay mitt back in January but never got round to using it... In my defense I'm always shattered by the time I wash all 3 cars! :( but one weekend soon I'm only going to wash, cłay and wax my lil baby :)
Went to install the lambda sensor today and gave up.... U need tiny hands to get in there or Is it just my gorilla hands that couldn't fit in to the tight space! There just isn't much space to move the tool, might need to get hold of long handle spanner.. On the plus side modded the intake box with extra hole.. turned into growling bad boyee :) well happy with end result
I got a paint bubble forming on the edge of the bonnet lid, Lexus said its probably been caused by a stone chip and water gradually seeping in over time.. Needless to say it wasn't covered under the perforation guarantee!! It hasn't flaked off yet so I'll leave it until such time it requires attention.
I just got 2 of the Denso 234-9051 sensors in from the U.S. cost me £130 incl shipping for both so fantastic price, can post the link if anyone else wants to order them in...
Other note: I've not had any engine light, just changing mines out of precaution and also cause I sense a rich fuel smell everytime I get out of the car which I never used to get. Car at 82k.
That awesome! Does it work for iPhones? Not visted the website yet. Also does it work on all sat nav based is250 or is it for 2009+ hd based units?
Ps: website doesn't work
