Still struggling to find a genuine one for a decent price. All the listing on eBay are for IS MK2 2006-2013 on those same listing they mention things like also works with Yaris 2016. But no mention of IS MK3 2014+ Im starting to wonder if the design/pins have been altered for IS MK3? Amayama that Steve2006 mentioned have it but shipping to UK has been suspended for the time being.

He offered money for the cruise and paint. Just waiting on it appearing in my bank account. The painting is gonna cost a little, he offered to paint it at his garage but the cost of petrol both ways and hotel wasn't really worth the trip. So far they are being helpful.

The local breakers wanted £75! Do the MK2 model work with MK3? I thought it was a design change?

I'm just wary of it being inferior but at same time cannot justify £138.

Hi, The cruise control stalk is missing on my steering wheel.. it appears the last owner broke and never replaced it.. long story short i need to get a new one. Have 2 options: 1) Lexus Parts Direct have it for £138 2) AliExpress have it for £10 made by a company called MH Electronic From my understanding the stalk is a dumb device as all the work will be done by the ECU. So it just sending an on/off signal essentially. Part Number: 84632-30010 IS Phase 3 Which one would people recommend going for?

Oh i love it... i did fear i would be disappointed having had the IS250 for the last 9 years.. but i have seen the light 😄 I was tossing between the 200t and 300h but im glad i went with 300h... im sure the 200t would be a blast to drive.

the VINS are all a match.. on closer inspection i can see paint drips, looks like a quick rush job by an amateur. The correct colour code for this car should be: 083 Ultra White

No it doesn't have radar cruise. Other than spec is there a way to check? Radar is usually a black square on the front of the car isn't it? Quality control seems odd but everything these days is flimsy plastic who knows. I never had issue with the stick on my is250. Quite well could be the last owner broke it and never bothered to replace it due to cost. £138 on lexus parts direct website. It was an independent garage, the reviews were ok, I always check reviews before proceeding with the car. The refurbished the wheels last week. As they were all scruffed. I'm hoping they will still be honarable despite have concluded the sale.

No wasn't lexus dealer, I will speak to garage tomorrow. But yes cruise control is a strange mystery.

Took a look at the handle, while Its not bubbling, it does look like layered paint!

Yup it defo been repainted. Not sure about bubble will check in the morning. Trim yes it's not aligned as it's sticking up on rear passenger door, I did try to push I down but it doesn't stay. A little gutted but it can be resprayed so not end of the world. Drove it 430 miles home, flawless car not disappointed by the performance or cvt transmission or noise. But one more nasty surprise as I went to use cruise control only to find it wasn't there!! For some reason it's been cut and remove. Again not the end of the world as it an easy fix, locally scrappy has a car on stock so will salavage from that, but still bewildering.

I was thinking that myself but I think it's just the lighting.

That's it folk have sold the IS250 today ☹️ been an amazing 9 years! I found the receipt last night it was exactly 9 years yesterday I bought her. Gutted to see her go, never left me down 1 day in my ownership. My next adventure with the IS300h starts on Saturday, cannot wait 😁

Its not like the manufacture update the UI in the car unless its a generation change.. so any continuous updates to GROM/Navrider will always be welcome unless it introduces some nasty bugs lol

Just some FYI as the Grom Vline is running Andorid 8.1, I emailed GROM to ask about Android 10+ they replied back to say that their system will be getting an upgrade in Q1/Q2 but they dont have an exact date yet.

Hey, Can the 6" sat Nav screen be upgraded to 10"? I'm not talking about going down the Navirider route... Just seems like a waste of screen real estate, as useable space is tiny. For 2015 model. And Failing that I may opt for Navirider unit, or just stick with current screen and get a Grom VLine2.

Cheers Rob, i wouldn't mind seeing the car up close... need to check again if Lexus Edinburgh have any i can physically see and drive in person. But as far as prices go best ones are all south of the border.
