Sadly not.... They probably plug in TechStream, run the fan test and check a bunch of other stuff...... You will need to clean the fan yourself. Easy enough just time consuming i found.
I wonder if Meg's Quick interior detailer spray is what Lexus Edinburgh details used when i had the car serviced.. it smelled nice. I will pick up a bottle and give it a go.
I did read somewhere that Lexus dealers go to products is Maguire's.
I'm still waiting on the module arriving.
Est delivery is 6th April.
I did have a play with the seats yesterday, they are easy to remove, the back seat were surprising clean underneath i was hoping to find a few pound coins 🤣

When looking at the Denso catalogue this comes up:
Different Denso part number.
There is loads of used ones on eBay just search: Lexus IS300H a/c
Hope this helps.
It's interesting to know its electrically driven.
But confused as to what the hybrid system light has to do with AC?
Surely the issue with the hybrid cooling should be the hybrid battery fan and filter in the boot?
The AC compressor seems like a separate issue and sadly they're expensive. Alternative is to pick up a used one.
Hi,
Would some of you be kind enough to send me screenshot of what page 8 in the service book is supposed to look like when filled in by Lexus.
The service book was originally missing but i have a replacement and I'm trying to get it filled out again.
If you don't want to post photos here then you can message m privately.
Appreciate your assistance 🙂
Only issue I've had is with centre console armrest making a clunky sound every time I rest my arm and lift, I fixed with 2 tiny strips of 3M dual lock tape I had left over as they are quite thick... No more clunking sound.... That said I had my 2007 IS250 for 9 years and that was rock solid and in my view better build quality than the current mk3 😀
Nice one Colin ☺️
Connection on the back looks the same.
Screen can be bought from Amayama for £331 which is not bad. But in the grand scheme of things you might as well for go something like a Navirider. The cost of the screen above and Grom unit would work out more expensive.
GROM is a mini computer essentially which plugs into the existing wiring loom.
Something like a Navirider is the whole screen with the computer built into it and is touch screen.
You will find videos of it on YT.
You would need to go 3rd party like the Navirider and have it shipped from far east, expect to pay around £550-700
Im still mauling whether to go for something like the Navirider or stick with the current screen (tbh isn't that bad size wise) and just get the GROM Line V2.
the other advantage of the Navirder is that its also touch screen whereas GROM would still need to be navigated using the joystick.
Hmm yeah sorry the model is not displayed when viewing LOC forum on a phone... Ah thats too bad. I would say if you are really ambitious you could trying removing the C-Pillar trim to see what the tpms module code is.
Its always scary the 1st time but if you follow everything correctly you should be fine.

Don't imagine there would be much difference on the 2019 other than cosmetic changes and the IS250/300h are all siblings anyway.
It will vary from car to car but on the IS300h there is more work involved especially for RHD as the hybrid fan intake is on same side... I've removed all the seats in my last IS250 so this shouldn't be any more difficult.
