on january 3rd my lexus is200 sport was deemed a write off by my insurance so i am now looking for another.

in blue, black or silver

would perfer the SPORT but SE is fine

for around £2600 might be able to go up to around 3 but not sure

not sure but if in doubt take it to a lexus specialist as sometimes they might no something that isnt common knowledge.

you will need the amp bypass cable as the wiring loom for the standard sterio is completly different the amp is located behind the glove box there is a post on here somewhere about it just go to the search.

the loom u need can be bought on eBay for not alot its just a case of wiring it all up

it is illegal to tint the front screen.

this is why rule of thumb for sun strips is above the wiper marks

u have to have something like 80% light penatration on the driver and passanger front doors thats why u get pulled and yes it should be by law a 60 fine and the removal of the tints

a set of these should work a treat but hunt around theres loads on eBay

u can buy connectors if u can find the one in the pic. its just a little plastic hose type thing which u can connect up

most filters are around 3" or 3 1/4 so any pipe round there will work

u can get all the parts of eBay like silicone pipe and ally tube its all on there u just have to shop around i priced one up once and came up with a price of around £60

the only thing u have to get is the airfilter of ur choice

cant say i ever had this problem just a straight swap and that was it never got a error message

it just takes a while to fit its abit of a nightmare to get around the back of the amp

make sure there the right way round ie pos to pos did this one and they didnt work dso had to take it off again to turn them round

i just got it from the back remove the clips on the inner wheel arch and the 2-3 10mm screws holding the plastic shrowd under the car.

once you have done that u can just get ur arm inside, behind the spot light and thats it u can replace bulb without trying to force the light unit out

i had this conversation with a mate at work and we came up with the conclusion that all the people that are not paying there road tax is making it worse for those who do pay by law.

we worked out that if you scrap the road tax and put it on petrol. ok so petrol will go up however all those not paying tax will have to pay something therefor reducing other tax and the like on trying to find the people not paying.

spoke to a police mate and he said it all depends on

1. if have been done before. ie points ban the like

2. if u ask for a calibration sheet the police officers who did u have to satnd up and say yes they are trained yes we thought he was speeding and if there switched on the calibration will show it

3. this can lead to a bigger fine as they think you may be trying to get out of it
