hi all
had abit of a brainwave last night
thought id try something a bit different the engine looks a bit bland in colour so thought all the plastic covers could be painted
but instead of just one colour was thinging of painting the jap rising sun over it.
thoughts on the matter would be nice
thanks

Mate well impressed looks mint i like the route u have taken over the front
job well done as i always say to the wife my work here is done so get the bru on lol
-
theres a screw in the small door pocket (the one to pull the door closed) then theres one behind the door handle behind a little cover and then theres just a load of plastic pop studs along the bottom that just need popping out.
remove the electric window mech just by pushing it backwards and should just lift out from the front end first and undo the connector
and that should be it I THINK.
hope that helps

there easy to remove and the tool you can buy from any car part shop or eBay only a couple of pound but like said above a flat head screwdriver should pull them out and then theres just four 8mm (i think) bolts and the thing just comes apart.

well i think if u have an SE or Sport u need one not sure for the S
but to say it simply the connections from the amp will only fit the standard head unit so to fit an aftermarket unit you need the amp bypass cable so it will take the normal connections for headunits
theres plenty of threads on here about it so just use the search

havin the same sort of problems with the fuel guage on mine reads 1/4 when its empty but when you turn the egnition off it drops to the normal position at the bottom is this a common fault with the 200 my last one didnt do it.
could it be the dash or the sensor in the fuel tank
-
do you really need one....
its a suttle little mod that can look good in the engine bay
but to answer your question no not really

-
my dose and it goes up when i fill it but just wont drop past the 1/4 when its empty
-
right let me start drove to my town 2 miles from where i live fuel guage said 1/4 full on the way back started to spluttrer and then cut out completly.
tried to start it and it turned over went to 500rpm and then within 2sec cut out again.
so ran to the petrol station on a whim, hope and a prayer got a 5ltr jerry can can ran back and put it in.
low and behold fired up fine
could this be a fault on the dash with the fuel gauge or the actual sensor in the fuel tank
answer or ideas please thanks alot

theres a thread on how to move the horns lower so you cant seen them through the grill that would be worth a look it under works shop threads i think
but otherwise looks mint
-
stupid question but could it be the gearbox oil being low that can effect it i think
-
i would defo upgrade to HIDs and maybe tint the windows not by alot just a light smoke just enough to keep it classy
otherwise looks in a mint condition
-
