FYI - this install was succesful. Note that for anyone trying the same, when you install the unit, the gray gps antenna bypass lead does not need to be connected in UK models. (infact scuppered me at first since there was no where to connect this - turns out you can _only_ connect on US model and not required for uk)

Greetings all. Just purchased a 57 plate 460 SE-L. Love the car.A question for you. Has anyone ever successfully fitted one of these to a UK 460, to allow phone/nav functions (and DVD for front passenger) in motion ?

Have ordered one from the US, will see how it goes. But if someones tried and didn't work will send it back...
cheers

Not sure - will check. The car is a 57 plate, but bought it approved used from a dealer. I'll see if they can give me the latest disk. Thanks for the heads up !
I'll prob still go ahead with trying to fit the override, as would allow front passenger to watch DVD in front console - let you know how it goes.
cheers

Hello, great choice of car. What Sat nav disc do you have? The latest '09' allows you now to input destination while on the move. For the phone just put in your most used numbers into speed dial. Save yourself the money and just buy the latest nav disk!

Help - 460 Se-l Rear Climate Problem Or Not ?

Hoping one of you might be able to help me.
My 2007 460 SE-L has 4 zone climate control with rear diffusers etc. I notice however that if the rear temps are higher than the front I don't seem to get any independant heat in the rear, only cool.
E.g. in the extreme, I can set front 2 zones to 17C, and set rear zones to 30C each, I don't get any independant heat in the rear. Is this a problem ? i.e. should the reat seat climate unit behind the boot be generating heat in addition to cool air ?
I had it in a dealers for some other warranty work (faulty siren) and asked about the heating - they confirmed they see what I see but weren't sure if it was an issue or not - it's going back in this week for further investigation.
Is the above behaviour normal or not ?
thanks in advance
Matt
