  1. No you will use a lot more fuel in the 250 than the 220 however you should save of potential other issues many other have had with the 220. You may be lucky and get a perfect 220 that has no issues and does great MPG and all is well, however 250's do seem to be a lot lot less troublesome, but that does come at a premium in fuel usage! The 250 is a beautifully refined engine, theres a lot more 250's than 220's in the UK so its easy to find good ones!
  2. I assume this is a dig at myself as I am the only 1 who has actively tried to promote the section. Was only trying to raise awareness and try to create an active section to a forum that isn't the most active. Sorry you find this tedious I wont be stopping trying to promote a new section for yourself however
  3. Cant argue with that! Youll be searching a long time if you are looking for faults in a Lexus hehe, enjoy 1 of the best cars you'll ever own
  4. Cant quite work that out, is that like an exhaust tip with a back box end cap on? From square on at the back it certainly looks like brand new stainless exhaust silencers.
  5. I don't personally have anything against the 220d however I can highly recommend the IS250 it is sublime and worth the reduced fuel economy!
  6. Yeah manufacturers make nothing especially not accessories so it will just be a decent quality bag manufacturer they have found and tell them to stick a logo on the bags
  7. Hello and Welcome to the forum! If you have any intentions of completing any maintenance, modification or just general enthusiast type jobs on the Lexus now seems like the ideal time to start a thread on the Brand New build thread section to share you ideals and photos and hopefully get a few ideas and tips along the way.

Don't think we have just a "sport" model over here so you probably wont get many answers but I may be wrong

  12. @rayaans Just after another bit of advice, have you had any experience with AS Red 7? After giving my wife's Leon a clean last weekend I used my carchem revolt on her wheels and completely touchless they cam out immaculate despite not being cleaned for months and months, was really impressed. I don't usually use anything about from shampoo, water and wheel sealant on my own wheels using a wash mitt, this keeps them tip top but it is time consuming and doesn't always get every bit out of the very tight corners of my spokes. I think Carchem revolt would strip the wheel sealant each time I used it but this Autosmart Red 7 says it is PH neutral so I am wondering if it could be used as part of my weekly routine to give the wheels a quick squirt without doing any harm unlike spraying them with something like wheel acid? If no AS Red 7 can you recommend another product that would work well for weekly touchless wheel cleaning without removing any sealants and being corrosive to the paint surface. Thanks
  13. Yeah think the seller I eBay has them in stock. I'll let you know the quality once it arrives. I would imagine both audi and Toyota use the same manufacturer for the bag
  14. Nothing yet mate accessories tend to be quite slow from manufacturers to be honest
  15. That is very strange are there any strange noises whilst the mirror is moving like clicking noises?

  18. The standard of my car history was very up and down depending upon financial situation such as buying houses and getting married and such but it went roughly something like this: On a side note none of the others are even in the same league as the IS a good few of them were faster as all were turned and modified along the way but the IS beats them all on every other level Fiesta, Corsa, Civic coupe, Mitsu Colt, Integra Type-R, A3, Civic coupe, 306, Impreza, C2, Civic, 206, Civic and finally IS250 Only car I miss was the Import Integra Type-R, getting to enjoy that car at 19 was something else, fantastic drivers car
