  1. What about a foldable pole at the end of the drive. I was thinking of getting one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Splendid beast Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Nice. What’s your car sir, LS 460 ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Your right. The roads in the UK are pretty crappy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Fantastic.. at last, a 460 ! I’ve seen stories on this forum where people are so scared to death of the reliability of more modern LSs , that they never trade in their ancient 400s or or 430s. Let us know how you get on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Hi, why were you not going to fix a tow bar to your LS? Surely it’s the ideal car for towing? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. No, just warns you of the limit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I think that’s it, Nemesis Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Maybe it’s the road sign camera picking up the speed limits on the road and beeping when it displays it.. Probably best to call the dealer. They are bound to clear it up in five minutes. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Hi, yes, that’s normal for the engine to start when cold. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Forgive me, but why did you go for an American kit for a UK car? I'm sure Lexus do a tow kit , then you don't have to worry about different connections! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Why not go for a LS 460 ? Surely a much better option? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Hi I just saw an article in the news that the new Tesla software update for its cars will enable them to self park and read road signs and Drive around in the car park looking for spaces. I feel that Lexus has been a bit lax with innovation and has been outdone and left behind by Tesla. Case in point is been beaten to the introduction of full electric cars and also by the advanced AI that Tesla now has in its vehicles. I guess I was a bit disappointed because on my RX 2007 model that I still have , it has reverse parking cameras and the touchscreen, which I think was probably cutting edge for its day. . Any thoughts on this? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Mine has a black switch.. you press it down to turn the front sensors off.. there's no LED on mine, except for the range guide which is on the top of the dash Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I have a 2007 RX 400h. The front parking sensor is a dealer add on. The switch is near the gear shift, if it's any help Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Hello that’s very unusual behaviour for Lexus garage indeed. Almost unbelievable for Lexus!! As long as your electronic parking brake shows green on the auto light I’m sure that it will work on hills and anywhere else. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Hi with Lexus as long as it’s been regularly serviced and looked after , it will go on forever . High miles is nothing to a well serviced RX, so if you buy the higher mileage one you’re still getting an excellent long-lasting car , as long as it’s been looked after. Personally I’d go for the 2011 with less mileage. Both are basically the same shape car anyway. But that’s just me. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Hi, not seen one before.. sounds unusual. 2.7 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. Thank you Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Hi all am I correct in thinking there is no Haynes manual for the RX? I can’t find any entries for the 400 H or even the450s. Surely Haynes would have a manual? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Hi, good luck with the car. Did you say RX Sport? If you mean F sport, I don’t think it is... the F sports have a different grille as far as I can tell from the picture. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. Am thinking this data protection is getting out of hand. It’s all due to the lefty hand wringing politicians I’m sure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  23. I don’t agree there . The sat nav is pretty good in my 2007, very good instructions come from the voice I find. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. Hello, The previous owner may have done high mileage and had one or two missed services but the fact is that’s nothing for a Lexus engine to have done 107,000 Miles. It’ll do 300,000 with no bother, so as long as no problems are present , I would ask them to check the hybrid system and provided no issues come up I’d buy it. Seems like you have a good deal and to quibble over the odd £250 seems like a waste of energy for such a car. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. I don’t think you are generally supposed to hold an automatic transmission on the parking brake while sitting in traffic, unless your in a massive tailback, then you might as well put it into park anyway. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
