As regards to boot space, I’m disabled so I have my mobility scooter in the back of my RX400 which is lifted in and out by a Autochair Olympian hoist. I also put my suitcase in there too. No issues with space so far. If anything the 450 backs I’ve seen are even bigger than the 400. Wonderful Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Just a thought. The RX is a long range cruiser. Surely the idea is to enjoy the luxury and the size . If you have to worry about the fuel and mpg so much, why buy one in the first place?

Hello, I saw the OP problem and got thinking. I drive an RX400 h and I find even though I’ve had the car for 6 years it’s pretty impossible to know when the petrol engine comes in unless you are looking at the energy monitor whilst driving. I haven’t driven for 450 new shape but I’m assuming that the technology has progressed from the 400 so you’d expect a smooth transition on par with my RX 400 , but the only time I can tell the engine is coming in is when i blip the throttle to accelerate and then there is a noticeable step or a jerk for want of a better expression, but this is normal... I agree. But I guess the case is an extra layer of protection, and you don’t then have to deactivate the key every night. I must admit I’m a bit perturbed about not been able to put the key fob in the case as well.. seems a bit lacking in thought on the part of the makers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
