  1. Indeed I should have Shoulda woulda coulda At the time, the only option I was aware of was the Armytrix and didn't/don't have that kinda money sitting around dammit 😞 If I get an adapter made, I will be able to swap the back boxes myself on the drive or even in the garage should I hire one on a track day - this is my plan.
  2. Hi all. Im considering the Lexion 10.25 Android screen. It’s quite pricey but ticking all the boxes. What would also help me to commit to the upgrade would be if I knew I could get a bit of cash back for my current car play solution as seen in this thread above. If anyone would be interested please send me a message or reply here. Cheers

  4. Sounds good. I might give it a go. I am trying to find someone to fabricate me an adapter so I can hook up my OEM back boxes onto the Invidia mid pipe. This way I can go back to stock volume and enjoy Bedford again 🙂
  5. What did you think of Donny? I’ve only been to Bedford as it feels safest with no barriers etc but my car is now too loud for Bedford 🙄
  6. You are very lucky its not blue (or maybe I am) as I would have bought it before you put it up for sale. Hopefully still see you around buddy. Good luck
  7. Update: Called my broker again to discuss possible new policy. Spoke to a different advisor who wanted to check with my underwriter herself that they wont "upgrade" my current policy. They agreed to upgrade and not only that, totally free of charge! (Highway/Liverpool Victoria - Modified Car Policy)
  8. Nice one What track did you go on? How did you find it?
  9. Just found out my current UK insurance policy only covers me for "minimum cover required by each country" when driving abroad, which means I will be 3rd party only when I leave UK - NO THANK YOU. I am underwritten by LV via broker Performance Direct who do not offer any comprehensive EU policies. Has anyone ever taken out a specific EU/Holiday policy? If so please leave recommendations below. Thanks
  10. They have since corrected their first email of $1200 explaining that is their price to supply a US ECU. As I am supplying one already, the tune is $499. Won't be getting any big gains without some serious hardware, but instead an improvement in response, power delivery and torque having read this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-f-2015-present/985890-rcf-rr-racing-software-ecu-tune-thread-2015-2016-a.html
  11. So they can bench tune the ECU I have, but initial pricing $1200, so discussion continues as remote tunes are advertised at $500 on the website.... But it will "lift" the limiter.... TBC what that means exactly.
  12. I just inquired about a bench tune. I bought a US ECU which I am hoping I can send to them to tune incl limiter removal.
  13. Popped into Lexus Sidcup just now (was passing). Booked in for the recall 15th Feb. I am however anticipating a call about no parts given comments above - perhaps not. I will keep you posted.
  14. Took mine to 150 at Bedford Autodrome, would have gone further but run out of straight. One thing is for sure, both hands on the steering wheel but even so it felt solid, planted, handling the speed very well indeed.
  15. Appreciate speedos are always on the fast side but I wonder if it makes it more accurate being a digital tachometer? Guess not as still a mechanical speed sensor feeding the output?
  16. 178mph still 10 higher than on book. Certain it'll go further. How did it feel at that speed? Thanks for pointer on Sunday but I think we will be further South by then - Stuttgart. Maybe another final blast on the way home...
  17. I’m not taking it on the ring as there is a race meeting that weekend, however it’ll be the same as any other track day where you will need separate track cover. Though this is not mandatory like it is on the road, you pay to cover your own car against damage no matter the cause.
  18. That’s a great shout I’ll try and join now
  19. @Sixty great advice I will read all of the links thank you 👍🏼
  20. Ah good thanks. Not sure with the time we have we can get to both Stuttgart and Munich. So seen as I’m not a fan of BMWs, Stuttgart it is.
  21. Ha I worked with a couple of Germans so already knew that rule lol
  22. Ok Ill look that up thanks, assumed it would all be in one place?
  23. Hi all, Heading to Germany in the F in May with a friend who has a tuned RS3 and we are both bringing our brothers for company. The aim is to enjoy 4 days behind the wheel of our beloved machines, see some EU sights and of course make use of the Autobahn's where we can. We plan to stop at the "ring" as there is some GT3 racing that weekend as well the Porsche and Mercedes museums (don't hate) after a night out in Stuttgart. Anyway, has anyone driven to/through Germany before? Any pointers for a fellow petrol head? Places to visit, things to watch out for etc? Thanks
  24. I hope it was a good looking lorry... In all seriousness that is impressive from a 5.0ltr V8, but I just couldn't handle the boredom. Well done.
