  1. $73 inc postage I may have to pay a little customs aswell though I will let you know, sometimes they slip through.
  2. As this post is a couple of years old now, I just wondered if the Blackberry Gateway is still required for A2DP streaming?
  3. I went with Morimoto XB D4S 5500k I have had Morimoto before and they are very very good. Will post pics when they arrive (from US)
  4. Anyone know of an 18" version of the ISF wheels? Obv being aftermarket......? I love the looks but want 18"
  5. Doesn't look too bad actually, still a shame they aren't 18"s. Thanks
  6. Hi all, Trying to make a decision over my alloy wheels. The standard 10 spoke 17s on my new IS250 are in need of refurb. Whatever choice I make about wheels I want to go dark grey metallic or gun metal. I REALLY like the ISF alloys and if they came in 18 I would save up for them. Can anyone recommend any other 18 rims that have the same look as the ISF alloys? The easy answer is to get my standard 17s refurbished in gun metal, but I am worried they might look a bit silly being only 17. Has anyone done this already? Please post pics if you can to help me. FYI I have the dark grey body colour as you can see from my avatar to the left. Cheers Billy
  7. Ah ok dammit, I might get a quote from an auto electrician far too complicated to modify like with the mk1
  8. So Osram 5000k will give me the Merc colour?
  9. Resurrecting this post..... Has anybody upgraded their HID bulbs (actual D4S HID I mean, not a HID kit)? I wanted my IS250 SE-L with HID to match the colour of the latest Mercedes with HID. Anyone know which colour rating OEM Mercedes bulbs use? Anyone have pictures of their Lexus HIDs with upgraded bulbs please?
  10. Last night (first journey in my IS250) I was in D doing 70mph and i went into S and it was only in 4th which of course raised the revs dramatically. Then I pulled to some lights some time later. Switched into S again this time stationary and it was still in 4th??? This leads me to think it S mode stays in the gear you was last in when using it??? No? Seem silly so I am probably wrong.
  11. I am aware of the laws surrounding fog lights and I wouldn't ever ignorantly blind other drivers. I intend to swap the bulbs for LEDs which have far less glare so will not blind other drivers and run them as DRLs (like the Prius). Of course I could use a harness from the internet but I wanted to operate them using the existing OEM switch. I have been running like this for 3 years now in my IS200 passing many police cars along the way without being pulled over (whether its legal or not - it looks OEM).
  12. Hi all On my 200 I modified the fog light relay so that the fog lights would work on the OEM switch without needing the side lights switched on first. I then installed LEDs and run them as DRLs. Can this be done on the 250? Does the fogs power work on the stalk position or are the relays in series just like the 200?
  13. Thanks all......pickup in 5 hours, I am like a kid at Xmas!
  14. Many thanks, did not realize that how to included the grille I was after.
  15. Does anybody have a live ebay link to an ISF style replacement grille please? There are a few but I would prefer a recommendation from someone that has ordered and fitted. Thanks Billy
  16. Yeh I had inner arms fitted to my IS200 as they seized. Cant imagine they are too different to the IS250 ones. Rod with ball joint on the end that screws into the rack piston right? Its the ball joint on the end of the rod that has the play. Play in the rack itself would mean a leak surely?
  17. Oh ok, so its just new inner arms then as I assume the joint comes attached to an inner arm assembly? (Will do both sides at same time).
  18. Just spoke to the MOT Tester that did the test yesterday. He said very minimal play in the joint between inner arm and rack, not noticeable through steering wheel but only when car is in the air. He said nothing to worry about for a few years if at all, car is mint otherwise. Anyone know if you can replace the rack joints or its a reconditioned rack i'm looking at?
  19. I will call the garage that did the test and ask for more info...... My cousin who is in the motor trade said that normally comes up when the tester is a bit over zealous like you have said.
  20. Hi all, About to collect my car (2008 IS250 51k) and the owner promised he would put through MOT so that I have 12 months to drive away with. However, there is 1 advisory: "Play in steering rack inner joints". Can anybody tell me what this is, and what work/parts are involved in correcting please? May need to use it as a point for further negotiation. Thanks Billy
  21. Cheers. Took 4-5 weeks for an SE-L with MM in the right colours to come up. Well worth waiting and pouncing!
