  1. Hoping it won't annoy me enough, or I wont be on the motorway enough for it to bother me and want it removed. Went out again today, loving it. Windows down at all times! haha
  2. I was watching this one and in contact with the dealer at the time - think it was in Newcastle. It dropped by £2k then disappeared - sold was the message from the dealer. I was waiting for funds so missed out. Perhaps a blessing disguise? It then appeared again end of the year / early this year at another dealership and went again. Crucially the mileage has not changed at all since I was watching it in July so seems as if nobody has owned/used it and it continues to be passed around the trade. Would love to know what its problem is....I am sure a lot of those highlights on BCA report could be easily corrected by a dealer wishing to invest. Perhaps something more sinister underneath... a shame, my fav colour combo and great mileage!
  3. Oh yeh ok I can relate to what you are talking about having already driven some miles "around town". That's not bothering me....but a 2hr + stint droning on the motorway might become an issue. Early days and I am over the moon 🙂
  4. Well, the pipes are on and I’m over the moon. Sounds just as a V8 should. Not been on the motorway yet though....I’m sure the pros will outweigh the cons.
  5. Strange you should have that experience, all the feedback above report no drone during cruise.
  6. I have been warned about the cold starts. Still, I rarely start my car early mornings. I am either walking to get a train or working from home. I am sure my neighbours can live with a 10am + start on the weekends.
  7. Awesome. I made sure it was dark when I got it out of my boot and transferred it to the garage (I share a driveway with my neighbours) lol
  8. Looking forward to having this QS system fitted on Friday - bought used from a fellow member. Stumbled across this thread and seriously cannot wait now 🙂
  9. That's exactly why I wanted to do the colour change....make it a bit more obviously 'F'....
  10. Just to say thanks all for your input Even if we did go off on a slight tangent, or "tangerine" lol (Sorry, terrible Dad joke)
  11. Thanks for taking the time to do that @Wood Butcher There is a set for sale on Ebay and I even tried doing the same by zooming into the pictures. Only Brembo markings and the part no. I emailed Brembo yesterday. I think if I get a wishy washy answer from them, then I will just forget the idea.
  12. Yeh thanks Colin, I suspected this was the case. Only someone high up in the Design Exec Team will know....
  13. Mmmm lots of inputs for which I am grateful.... Only I think you have all convinced me to leave them well alone.....for now.
  14. I have been told by many painters that with the correct primer, lacquer and curing process, you can paint your brakes in any colour you like using standard car paint.
  15. Ha so yes I am still tied between the 2x Perhaps I will order a touch up for both, or even a small can for both colours and see how they dry on bit of scrap
  16. Yes I was looking at 2x options: 1) LFA Nurburgring Orange 9K5 2) RCF Molten Pearl 4W7 Molten Pearl looks correct using your picture as benchmark.....
  17. Of course, orange is orange for some people. However I am a perfectionist so want to get it right if I can.....accepting I may have to concede to something close.
  18. Hi all, I keep looking at the blue GSF for sale on AT, it makes me want to copy the calipers for my blue RCF. I think the two compliment each other well. The topic has come up loads in US with no conclusion so wondered if anyone here in the UK has managed to find out the colour code for the orange calipers which are now down as an F Sport option across models and standard on a GSF...? Thanks, Bill.
  19. What can you get from Connected Services? And will my model have it (2015 RCF)?
  20. Haha yes I thought my video was jumping/looping at one point and skipped a minute ahead lol
  21. No one better than Tony at WIM aka Blackboots, Chesham. 66 miles, 1.25hrs drive from Bluewater. Only garage I would trust on a GSF's suspension that's for sure!
  22. Id recommend having Wheels In Motion fit them, that way you can get a Geo setup right afterwards. They fitted my camber adjusters on the IS250....think will fit any other suspension components and you have peace of mind with them being the experts in suspension geometry setup Plus you get a nice drive to test before and after 😉 Whereabouts in Kent are you? Still trying to suss out fellow members locally? (I am Petts Wood close to Orpington)
  23. Indeed rarity will also drive the stats lower on accidents etc for the car. I paid £750 on my RCF back in Oct20 and I am in London Borough of Bromley.
  24. I can see where they were trying to go with the mods, but I would have gone down the Elvin CF route, not wrapped black. £32-34k at the very most....from what I have seen elsewhere online.
