  1. I am very please with mine which resembles my life long nickname almost perfectly. I paid just £200 after managing to get DVLA to release it into auction. I was totally surprised at their starting price and then i was the only bidder so a bargain!! That is to me as the name was valuable to me. I set my self a limit of £1000 before the auction started. Clearly no one else values that reg as high as no one else was interested so.... all subjective. Car specific plates are less subjective IMO. I'd say a car specific plate is worth probably £250-500.
  2. This is awesome mate, you should / I would be proud. Sounds lovely too 👌🏼
  3. For Go Japan, no invite. I emailed the organizers and requested a pass for the individual exhibit (which was free) and then you and your passengers pay the general entry fee.
  4. Are you within Relax warranty? Id call Lexus as they should be able to come and collect it for non driveable faults
  5. White one for sale on Facebook marketplace at the moment https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/325747679938333/
  6. Looks like a decent example. Apart from the obvious body kit (nice) I also spotted from the pictures it likely has spacers fitted. Confirmed by MOT history. Looks like they’ve fitted slightly wider than stock tyres (265 and 285). Although those sizes were listed as part of a failure or advisory so could’ve been replaced with stock for the pass.
  7. Thanks, I’ll give it a shot.
  8. Yeh that's good. Sidcup insisted on keeping the car all day for "a big job" but I was one of the first to have it done there so they are probably much faster at doing it now. I didn't get fuel either - just an inaccurate health check claiming my brand new brakes (50 miles old) had a lip on them lol [sigh]
  9. It would explain it yes, but still very odd. I work in Finance and making them different sizes just feels like an unnecessary production cost that could be avoided to me.
  10. Very odd. Im aware that they didn’t get folding mirrors in the US but did in the EU so it can’t be anything to do with that. So are the housings different size or just different moulding inside?
  11. I’m still flabbergasted that wing mirrors are different RHD / LHD 🤷🏼‍♂️
  12. Yeh same, I don’t have another £10k 😢
  13. Do you have Facebook? https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063692074606
  14. Just as well by the sounds of it
  15. Try this guy on Insta: elvin_6188
  16. That's annoying. We are lured into a false sense of security with the Relax warrant aren't we. I am also surprised they didn't recommend repalcing both sides at the same time - maybe that is a thing of the past?
  17. Fills me with a little more comfort that a handful of you have been and had this work done 👍🏼
  18. Indeed lots listed there but he clearly bought a car that had been used abused and neglected maintenance wise.
  19. Happy with mine for a while, but if I did move it would be RS6
  20. Might have lost your F, but still have your sense of humour I see lol
  21. Out of interest, what mileage are you each at?
  22. For mapping, you will want to contact "RR Racing" or "Tuned by Loi". Both are in the US, RR will want your ECU sent to them or you will need to purchase a new ECU from them (tuned) or Loi will send you a handheld gizmo with remotely tune the car via software share. I have looked into both, but for me, the cost far outweighs the negligible HP gains - each to their own however.
  23. That UK port or Japanese? Looks great
  24. Sad to see you go buddy, but enjoy the new toy! @hockeyedwards what are you driving these days? PS I managed to import a set of GSF wheels from Yahoo Japan - cant wait 😄
  25. If your tyres are sound and a good premium brand, I too would look to the diff. First thing to do which is relatively cheap vs any other potential problem is new oil. The wrong type could have been used (as mentioned) and or it hasn't been changed in a while. Speak to Opie Oils if you want to get something really decent put in there. They supplied me with uprated oil for my old IS200 gearbox and that oil change alone cured juddering at low speed!
