  1. I have also had mine on the dyno - completely stock and also got 445 confirmed as a crank reading. As many people has said above there are so many variables on the RR. The Dyno I went on applies a conversion to give out the crank reading - this could include errors. Then you have the tester themselves. I made sure he was in manual, Sport S+ and diff in Track mode but didnt know at the time that gear 5 vs 6 could make a diff. He should know but I didn't check. But I think the biggest factor for my car was that I know for sure the previous owner used 95 RON as I asked him on my test drive and the dyno run was done only 1 month after I had also filled it with 95...........I have been religiously running Esso 99 RON ever since (about 9 months) and will be going back on the dyno as soon as my new cat back arrives (will do before and after). Hopefully the 99 will recover some of those horses - not all but some. [edit] Tyres...what about your rear tyres? I am not impressed with the traction from the Bridgestones currently fitted to mine, so could they slip on the dyno? Perhaps not once up to speed.
  2. Just discs from Autodoc
  3. Just ordered a pair as it’s 35% off today. £162 delivered for 2x front discs
  4. China is always a gamble, I am happy to give them a try but be prepared to lose out. The kit looks great, well done on fitting. Should dechrome the rest of the car gloss black to match 😉
  5. Fair enough I guess I can live with a bit of mental arithmetic converting lol
  6. Hi all, The TPMS readout in the drivers menu is in [bar], do you know if we can change it to [psi]? I think the units change is for speed and odometer only.... 2015 RCF Thanks
  7. Herbie is right, they generally advise its ok but of course aftermarket parts are not covered. Not read the terms for Lexus Relax, however I have read them for my Extended Warranty and it states in there that if the aftermarket part is found to be the cause of an OEM part failure, then warranty would not pay in that case. Guess it's subjective case by case.
  8. Glad you like it @Hoobeeit served me well. Still waiting for my Invidia cat back to arrive from the US 😞 Get yourself to the nearest tunnel, sport s+, windows down, full revs!! 😉
  9. Right then, date is announced and tickets are open. 10th April 2022. https://www.fastcar.co.uk/japfest-silverstone/js-club-tickets/ Club tickets are £26 per person - but one of us will need to take the responsibility for arranging a club stand beforehand. Can anyone shout up admin tag them so I can discuss please? Whilst I am happy to help out, I am not club moderator etc so should channel it through them first. Please read the link above and let me know if you are interested - more the merrier.
  10. Did you screw/glue?
  11. Indeed we are getting a bit deep (I am a getting a bit deep)..... let's just sing praise for the TVD and all it's wizardry lol
  12. This is what I have found regarding the modes....which is pretty obvious I know, was hoping for an explanation of how its operation is altered. 1. Standard: This is the system’s default setting and is best suited to managing agility and stability in everyday driving conditions. 2. Slalom: The Slalom setting maximizes steering response and is best suited to tight hairpin bends and twisting back roads. 3. Track: As the name suggests, ‘Track’ mode is best suited for circuit driving, placing an emphasis on high-speed stability.
  13. Great thanks. Is it an RCF specific review or just TVD? I wonder if the full online owners manual will explain how the TVD settings change from Standard >> Slalom >> Track?
  14. Agreed, I am very happy (and confident) letting it do its thing.... I do want to find out how the TVD changes it behavior across the different modes - any idea where we can find that out on paper?
  15. Just wanted to start a discussion really. Last few weeks of damp roads, I have to say I am very impressed with the traction control system and/or TVD on my RCF. Saves the rear at just the right time but without completely removing the fun factor. I had an IS250 before and the traction used to just completely cut the power leaving you a sitting duck in the middle of the road after you just tried to get out of a turning quickly.... I wonder if the TVD option on my car is helping? Though I guess that is all about keeping traction right, then when it's actually lost the traction control takes over? - boring techy stuff I know but I am very impressed and it gives me full confidence in the wet/damp. Can't wait to get the Michelin's fitted after xmas too (car came with Bridgestone). Anyone else want to share their experience(s)?
  16. Please do let us know what they are like. Could be onto a winner.... Though I like to think there is a reason other than profiteering for Lexus' price. Have been VERY impressed with the TVD and traction control on my F these last couple of weeks - saves you but still keeps the 'fun' factor 😄
  17. Surely Brembo pads are same as stock too? Hmmmm
  18. Minimum thickness is 31mm down from 34mm out the box. Not ordered anything from the EU since Brexit. I will expect duty and if not it’ll be a bonus.
  19. True it is. I will go with yellow and then swap out for the reds if the dust annoys me. They are cheaper after all and we get 15% club discount so...
  20. I can see a slight lip on my front discs and no doubt they are original with the car on 27,000 now. Picking up a micrometer to measure the thickness and may replace them with the Brembo's listed on Autodoc. @ISF V8 JAYassuming they are identical right? And did you incur any import charges? Can't make my mind up on pads though. I want red stuff (due to lower dust) but I am thinking of going on track next year and EBC state they are street only. Then there is yellow which are too dusty for everyday.... OEM expensive vs upgraded items AND too dusty... *the pursuit of perfection lol
  21. Looks awesome Just can’t justify £10k for an extra 2 doors right now. 🥲 PS Any GSF owners wanna swap calipers?? And wheels while you’re at it 😂
  22. Looks like easy bolt on?
  23. Ill give em £35k final offer
  24. Best of luck with the warranty claim, will be very surprised if its not honored.
