hahahahaha mine are getting towards needing replacement, the reddish elements are starting to show thru BUT are quite serviceable yet .......... been that way for some years tbh BUT the Honda Legend door mirrors just go white'ish misty, god knows why .. I replaced one with a stick-on glass for about £20 i think, a while ago now, quite ok and serviceable ..... the other side has just begun to mist up tho ...... the Honda replacements were several £'00s and dopey to get new Malc

buy a new stick-on one ? ..... the heat where necessary will pass through if you must go out in the depths of winter Malc

just got one from a co in Romford,.......... SKY ASSURED Ltd ............ a Mr.Gendeep Singh business ............ about SKY kit repairs and protection and this is the last day to hand over my card details to pay and save ........ he explained that I would get a text from my bank card provider with an authorised code and I would confirm the payment ( thereby then unable to do a chargeback coz I would be implicit in the " fraud " .... this strategy info from my guy in Delhi who is doing a little espionage on a similar business to mine that's ripping people off this way ! ) He was talking to me for maybe 20 mins and I was happy to chat today, didn't have much else to do as I was waiting to go collect my just bought drum kit from a local Red Cross charity shop Anyway ........... I then told the guy that I don't have any SKY stuff at my home and he was trying to scam me ......... I had tried to get their bank details to report them etc ....... an angry cold caller, he said from SKY ASSURED Ltd then just hung up on me ...... oh dear ! what opportunity have I lost I wonder 😊 Malc

I think it depends on the overall delivered price of the goods but it might involve ...... carriage, Customs Duty ....... and VAT ... and a documentation handling charge too . maybe £10/12 or so Malc

2 x 0.25 mile walks a day will help you immensely ............. that's about a 5min walk each ...... a mile's about 20 mins normal walking .......... do that if you can, even if it's just down to the local shop or whatever ....... John, the time to do all this remedial work was probably when you bought this car or at least 4 years ago Having had a dreaded gearbox / water ingress issue on your Ls430 and seeing from this forum earlier advice about the same issues with the Ls460 .......... you were amazingly lucky to have got away with just £500 last time ...... it's understood that this issue can simply cause gearbox write-off, and hence economic car write-off to take place wish you well ............ do keep us posted please with your outcomes Malc

I bought an upgrade to my Ls400 hifi etc system .............. but it's a drum kit and not sure how I drive and play at the same time I would post a piccy of it if I knew how ...... I bought it 2ndhand from the local Red Cross charity shop Friday as a birthday pressie for my nephew's 10 yr/old lad Think I should be able to collect it etc in the Ls400 ........ I know it won't fit in the Honda Legend for sure Malc

over the years I'm reading that it's often the tyres that cause a little heartache to owners .... very very good brands sometimes just don't sit well with a specific model I had / inherited very expensive Pirellis on my Honda Legend and was so glad when they wore to a level that I could financially justify changing them to Falkens .......... and oh my ! what a transformation to the ride comfort BTW I have Falkens for some years on my Ls400 too Malc

your original main stainless steel exhaust will probably outlast the life of your car ...... another 20 years at least Malc
