They read quick so you can't sue the manufacturer in you get done for speeding when your speedo is under reading!

Good point actually as I don't think cars are tested for this on an MOT are they?

Aido is correct. It is the speedo that is slower than the gps.

Is it costly to get it fixed?

Has anyone else had problems with the speedometer? My speedometer is 5mph behind the actual correct speed at all times. I have tried two sat navs in the car, and both agree that my speedometer is wrong.

This is a real pain. Anyone any ideas?

If just the gaiter you can get some universal ones of Ebay.

Yes, i meant the whole section surrounding the gear stick. Not the leather gaiter on the handbrake or the gear-stick, but the surrounding section, i.e where it specifies Neutral, Park, Drive, etc.
