  1. They are 501's
  2. Go to the update website and before you put in the disc numbers,it should show you images of the various generations(at a guess I would say its either a 00 or 01 generation sat nav).
  3. As an alternative you could have them done in silver probably be done in a few hours rather than waiting to swap them.
  4. Hi,he probably bought the wrong disc(easily done)if you can take the disc out of the module(probably in the boot) and write the numbers on the disc down then go to the lexusmapsupdate website and put the disc numbers in and should give you the part number for the latest update. :tsktsk:
  5. Use Tesco momentum99 been good for me,can't complain
  6. Hi pm'd you details of a breaker in Birmingham
  7. Personally I think they are better than halogen bulbs, but seek the views of others, hopefully you will get a few more replies/view on your thread and then take it from there.Your dip beam bulbs are hb4's not sure about main beam as the later models have a different one from early models.
  8. Have you thought of trying hid bulbs/ballasts,seems a better option to be honest.
  9. Fortunately or unfortunately a lot of new cars now tend to have a harder ride due to suspension set up and lower profile tyres(apparently makes handling better)
  10. Lol why compare a gs300 with a ct200,a bit like comparing salt and sugar!!!!
  11. Hi 🙋 Darren I have pm'd you the details of a breaker I have dealt with.
  12. It should or is sometimes also written in the service history book,so have a look, that is in addition to it being on labels on the inside of the fronts doors as well as under the bonnet and vin number.
  13. Not sure about cost but best to do both sides
  14. Hi you should be able to find the recommended tyre size for your car on one of the yellow labels on the inside of one of the front doors, vredestein are a pretty good make of tyre I run the quatrac 3 all seasons on mine and were highly recommended by a tyre centre I use,got vredestein on my other half's car too, hope this helps.

  16. Yes it is and the cats will need to be put back on before it's next mot.
  17. With regards question 1,do you have a service history book if yes the locking wheel nut number is usually written in it,you can then quote this number and get a replacement from Lexus Question 2,yes you can a transponder and have it programmed without going to lexus Question 4,yes you can replace you stereo with a double din one, hope this helps you.

  19. Interested if you can post them, will pay postage if reasonable
  20. Haha might be out of date but mine still gets me there
  21. Hi the IS 200 does not have or should not have a cd changer in the boot as it is built into the head unit.
  22. I run vredestein quadtrac 3 all season tyres(not cheap at over £500) on my IS 200 and like Jim said best not mixing them.
  23. Hi personally I would say no(although I stand to be corrected),think you would have change the door, boot and ecu with a matching set(all from the same car including keys preferably set of two) as well. Not sure the ecu and immobiliser will recognise the new key either,so chances are your engine would turn over but car won't start.Furthermore it for any reason you needed to open the car door manually your ignition key wouldn't be able to this as it's off a different lock.hope this helps.
  24. Press and hold the boot release button for 2 to 3 seconds or thereabouts and you should hear it click open.
