  1. It should or is sometimes also written in the service history book,so have a look, that is in addition to it being on labels on the inside of the fronts doors as well as under the bonnet and vin number.
  2. Not sure about cost but best to do both sides
  3. Hi you should be able to find the recommended tyre size for your car on one of the yellow labels on the inside of one of the front doors, vredestein are a pretty good make of tyre I run the quatrac 3 all seasons on mine and were highly recommended by a tyre centre I use,got vredestein on my other half's car too, hope this helps.
  4. When did it last have a service, when where spark plugs last changed??
  5. Yes it is and the cats will need to be put back on before it's next mot.
  6. With regards question 1,do you have a service history book if yes the locking wheel nut number is usually written in it,you can then quote this number and get a replacement from Lexus Question 2,yes you can a transponder and have it programmed without going to lexus Question 4,yes you can replace you stereo with a double din one, hope this helps you.
  7. ACLex-Andy left months ago,he last logged on way back in October, have pm'd him since but no reply
  8. Interested if you can post them, will pay postage if reasonable
  9. Hi the IS 200 does not have or should not have a cd changer in the boot as it is built into the head unit.
  10. I run vredestein quadtrac 3 all season tyres(not cheap at over £500) on my IS 200 and like Jim said best not mixing them.
  11. Hi personally I would say no(although I stand to be corrected),think you would have change the door, boot and ecu with a matching set(all from the same car including keys preferably set of two) as well. Not sure the ecu and immobiliser will recognise the new key either,so chances are your engine would turn over but car won't start.Furthermore it for any reason you needed to open the car door manually your ignition key wouldn't be able to this as it's off a different lock.hope this helps.
  12. Press and hold the boot release button for 2 to 3 seconds or thereabouts and you should hear it click open.
  13. hi,bought one a while ago have pm'd you the guys email address, let me know how you get on
  14. Hi Tim will go through my email tomorrow and see if I can find his email address
  15. If it is that annoying keep it topped up and you won't ever have to worry about the annoying warning light, there's a saying better to be safe than sorry lol
  16. Common sense seems to be an increasing rarity, doesn't take a lot to keep it topped up really, agree totally with Steve.
  17. Totally agree common sense and awareness(both which seem to be in short supply these days).Don't know if anyone has noticed but I personally think that the rear parking light should be made to work with the day time running lights(on most cars when the drl's are on,no rear lights are on)and you find drivers still driving round with drl's when it's dark unaware I presume that they haven't got any rear lights on.Furthermore how often do you see cars with only one headlamp etc etc working?
  18. You might need to have a look at the sat nav module in the boot then, should be next to the spare tyre, however do bear in mind you need your keys in the ignition in the on position to determine if you have got any power going to the unit.
  19. Hi looks like you might have some sort of problem, there is a small tab probably about 3 inches long just where the sat nav rests when closed, if you prise this off with a screw driver you should be able to pull the sat nav up(to the open position) manually, and then take it from there.
  20. It probably will come up and you would be paying for your mot twice if you tried to do it that way won't you
  21. Hi as regarding the grille, this will fit as a straight a swap
  22. sorry chrome surround not my cup of tea,but if you like it great
  23. Try pressing and holding the eject button for a few seconds with ignition on???
  24. Silly question but has the sat nav previously been ok in other words did it work ok??
