  2. lol to be honest I couldn't tell you as I own a IS200
  3. could the aerial cable have come out of the back of the radio/stereo 📾
  4. Just to add,it seems that some mot testers seem to add meaningless and unwarranted advisories just for the sake of it for example "underneath of car corroded" .
  5. scudney

    Ls430 wheels

have a look on the bay, there's currently a set on there, although not cheap
  6. hi to be honest the choice is yours, you could go for a used one or an after market one depending on how much you have got to spend, has it still got the cats fitted though?
  7. hi nothing to worry about,it basically works in conjunction with the dome center interior light
  8. lol,quite a few to be honest
  9. there is also a how to do it guide on how to program a new key in the how to tutorial section just incase you get stuck
  10. you are meant to use the master key then insert the key/fob(transponder) that needs to be programmed, however I suppose there's no harm in trying with the valet key instead.
  11. to start with have a look at your service history book on one of the very front pages it should have your registration, colour code, locking wheel nut code and key code. You don't need a credit card type thing and the radio has no code anyway
  12. like I said you can have another key cut using the key code in your service history book or on the other hand find a good locksmith who specializes in car key 🔑 programming and he should be able to help.I wouldn't bother buying a used key except of course you want to use the transponder and have it reprogrammed to your car
  13. hi,not entirely sure sure how you get round that as I think you will need the master in order to program a new fob/transponder to work the remote locking. However someone on here might have a solution
  14. the grey one is the valet key, there are places that can cut you a replacement key from the key code number which you should find in your service history book assuming the car 🚗 has one.Have you still got the transponder from the broken one?
  15. glad to be of assistance, giving it a clean usually works if there's nothing wrong with it,haven't had any problems with mine 😊
  16. you might have to take the disc out and give it a clean and see what happens
  17. Had it been working okay previously?
  18. As far as am aware it will free up the wiper blades/arms only as Ford own the patent for the heated front screen, hope this helps
  19. Am not having a dig but it does baffle me when people try and cut corners what's the point in changing a cam belt and then not changing the idler and tensioner false economy !!!!!
  20. yes it should have been changed at least once at 60,000 miles or 6 years whichever came first,so if that is anything to go by it's more than likely due another change anyway.Price seems reasonable too
  21. Point of correction, cambelt change is not 100,000 mls or 10 years,it's 60,000 or 6 years whichever comes first
  22. except I take mine out,not sure which side you put in first, however try putting the tyre in by placing the side facing the rear lights in first(in a slanting position) and you should be able to push the edge facing the rear seats in,if that doesn't work try reverse(put the edge facing the rear seats first).hope this helps
  23. if you have 225.40.18's they will fit your spare wheel well, however there's a trick to getting it in.
  24. Personally I would not use Kwik fit for anything apart from tyres and exhausts(if at all)not a fan of such places
  25. Does anyone on the forum still own RE 51 UZA
