yes one of the green lights stays on irregardless,if you don't want the heat coming through from the outside or the engine put on recirculate and turn the middle dial down.
Just to add,it seems that some mot testers seem to add meaningless and unwarranted advisories just for the sake of it for example "underneath of car corroded" .
hi to be honest the choice is yours, you could go for a used one or an after market one depending on how much you have got to spend, has it still got the cats fitted though?
you are meant to use the master key then insert the key/fob(transponder) that needs to be programmed, however I suppose there's no harm in trying with the valet key instead.
to start with have a look at your service history book on one of the very front pages it should have your registration, colour code, locking wheel nut code and key code. You don't need a credit card type thing and the radio has no code anyway
like I said you can have another key cut using the key code in your service history book or on the other hand find a good locksmith who specializes in car key 🔑 programming and he should be able to help.I wouldn't bother buying a used key except of course you want to use the transponder and have it reprogrammed to your car
hi,not entirely sure sure how you get round that as I think you will need the master in order to program a new fob/transponder to work the remote locking. However someone on here might have a solution
the grey one is the valet key, there are places that can cut you a replacement key from the key code number which you should find in your service history book assuming the car 🚗 has one.Have you still got the transponder from the broken one?
Am not having a dig but it does baffle me when people try and cut corners what's the point in changing a cam belt and then not changing the idler and tensioner false economy !!!!!
yes it should have been changed at least once at 60,000 miles or 6 years whichever came first,so if that is anything to go by it's more than likely due another change anyway.Price seems reasonable too
