Ernest, Hermod.be(Martin) does not seem to have been on here since December last year, so you might have to look elsewhere for the information/help you need. On the other hand you might be lucky and someone on here might see your post and offer some sort of advice/assistance
Mot doesn't really guarantee you anything to be honest apart from saying that at the time of the test it was in a roadworthy condition. Having said that they should be okay especially as there wasn't anything mentioned at the time of the mot, although there's nothing stopping you from stopping and checking just to be sure and give yourself peace of mind
Sorry to hear of your mishap Vladimir,most important thing is that you came out of it unscathed and are otherwise ok, and with time you will be able to replace your car
Just don't expect to make a fortune, it's a 20+ year old car,has done a 167,000 odd miles,would probably fetch a bit more if it was low mileage and in near mint condition
