Lexus paint is soft so would think caution would be needed in choice of cutting compound. Would be nice to see before and after pics if you do go for paint correction especially with regards to the stone chips
With tyres everyone seems to have their own preference and recommend their preference to others, however in my experience certain make of tyres seem to suit certain cars better than others.
Did you buy one off the shelf or did you go to a stainless steel exhaust fabricator had have it custom made(with the added option of choosing your own tail pipes, back boxes and resonator)?
Had a custom stainless steel exhaust on my IS200 sport and specifically asked that it be as quiet as the OEM and it was almost as quiet with no drone whatsoever, will so down the same road when the exhaust on my IS250 f sport goes🙂
Definitely looking much nicer and better, well done,I always believe in making cars look better but seems some just take it too far and make it stand out like a sore thumb lol😁🤪🙃
Hi Peter sorry about your disappointment but unfortunately it's one of those unfortunate unforeseen circumstances, hopefully fingers crossed you will soon get your new RX🤞👍
I thought you would only think of skimming your brake discs if they were too expensive to replace brand new as is the case with some Porsche's,Ferrari,Lamborghinis etc and therefore skimming becomes a cheaper option
Well that's what they say, however choice is yours, its a bit like oil change every 20,000 miles,so if it takes me 6 years for me to do 20,000 its means no oil change in six years, don't think so
I think car traders/sellers etc have always been a bit OTT to be honest.Hopefully if you are prepared to wait and bide your time am sure you will find something to your satisfaction, however I would spread my net outside the forum as well.Good luck in your search 👍
Yes the flickering is one of the symptoms of a dying bulb or possibly ballast, personally I change mine in pairs(as soon as one goes the other is not far behind lol). You definitely can get them cheaper or on the other hand pay a lot more depending on brand ,osram,Phillips etc
Hi and welcome to the LOC, hoping you find the forum educational and informative, temperature gauge half way or slightly lower is normal, the 5mm socket is most likely your aux or your usb,I have got both in my is250 f sport
Probably leave the foot brake off, although it should be ok on as it's only a month, was going to suggest a jump pack but as you have a hybrid not too sure
To start with have you got headlight washers?if not the HID's are a no go if retro fitted as they will fail mot.Yes they are generally plug and play and should come with all the necessary wiring and connectors
Yes they obviously have managed to dupe some people and that's why they continue to try, every now and again I get one regarding my tv licence saying a payment has failed which I now is not the case and a fake
Congratulations and welcome to the LOC Sukhdev, hoping you find the forum educational and informative. As long as you are personally happy with the deal then there not much else to say,he no doubt has made a tidy profit out of the deal for himself.Just make sure that he keeps his word and actually does actually change all the items you listed above 🙂👍
And its looks like it's only going to get worse and more expensive,on the newer cars with led lights, you cannot change the dioxides so once they begin to go you will have to change the whole light cluster whereas all you needed to do in the past was change the blown bulb☹🤔
Why not have a look on auto trader, pistonheads or visit some local car dealers?if you are lucky one might come up for sale on here but you might have a bit of a wait
