  1. Looks a nice car from the outside, would say its worth a gamble and hopefully once the known problems are sorted you should have a decent car 👍
  2. Good thing you caught it in time then 👍
  3. Srik, don't worry yourself too much over it,you can go online and look up local car locksmiths and I am pretty sure you will find someone to sort it out, even Timpsons offer the service(currently shut due to Corona)
  4. Oliver congratulations, nice looking car,and welcome to the LOC,hoping you find the forum educational and informative 👍
  5. Well at least it's and a worry off your mind 👍
  6. Yes they definitely are lol, and yet another price to pay for modern technology and all that goes with it ☹
  7. Where possible I think we should try as much as possible to stay on the right side of the law.Booked my other car for its mot on the 6 of April and earlier on today got a message asking if I wanted to cancel that(in view of the 6 month extension)to which I said NO
  8. Most decent key/car locksmith should be able to provide you with a replacement key 👍
  9. If its damaged then have just the damaged one done, although if you have the money you could do both, but not necessary at this point in time
  10. Both my cars will be having their mot's done as I usually have them done, one in April 3 weeks early and one in July a month early(have always had them done early)except Corona or the government ask garages to shut👍
  11. Did they advise both or just the one?what does your mot/reason for failure actually say?
  12. No I personally don't and I asked the same question last week when I was with a few friends and the answer was NO
  13. Mot's have now been extended by six months from the 30 of March
  14. Lexus paint is soft so would think caution would be needed in choice of cutting compound. Would be nice to see before and after pics if you do go for paint correction especially with regards to the stone chips
  15. With tyres everyone seems to have their own preference and recommend their preference to others, however in my experience certain make of tyres seem to suit certain cars better than others.
  16. Surprised Bob that you have got the dreaded drone, admittedly did have a bit of it when I had one made for my Mazda zedos 6
  17. Did you buy one off the shelf or did you go to a stainless steel exhaust fabricator had have it custom made(with the added option of choosing your own tail pipes, back boxes and resonator)?
  18. Had a custom stainless steel exhaust on my IS200 sport and specifically asked that it be as quiet as the OEM and it was almost as quiet with no drone whatsoever, will so down the same road when the exhaust on my IS250 f sport goes🙂
  19. Definitely looking much nicer and better, well done,I always believe in making cars look better but seems some just take it too far and make it stand out like a sore thumb lol😁🤪🙃
  20. Hi Peter sorry about your disappointment but unfortunately it's one of those unfortunate unforeseen circumstances, hopefully fingers crossed you will soon get your new RX🤞👍
  21. I thought you would only think of skimming your brake discs if they were too expensive to replace brand new as is the case with some Porsche's,Ferrari,Lamborghinis etc and therefore skimming becomes a cheaper option
  22. Well that's what they say, however choice is yours, its a bit like oil change every 20,000 miles,so if it takes me 6 years for me to do 20,000 its means no oil change in six years, don't think so
