  1. Same here to be very honest 😁👍👍👍
  2. Hi Pete sorry to hear what you have been through, hoping you are otherwise coping okay and hope you are back to your normal self soon🤞👍
  3. Personally I don't think there is much power to be saved by deactivating the keyless entry system, however its makes deactivating it for safety/security reasons as this stops would be car thieves from picking up the signals emitted from the key fobs
  4. Hi Mike it could have been ticked at 30,000 miles, because the car would probably been about 6 years old then and probably done then too,so could have been done slightly earlier(all subjective though). On the hand it might not have been done as it is a big service, had mine done a few years ago along with oil,oil filter, pollen filter for just under £500
  5. When did you buy the car?have you checked the service history to see if they were changed?they should have been changed during the 60,000 mile service(assuming they are the originals)
  6. Lexus has topped the Driver Power 2020 survey https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/autosnews/the-best-car-brands-in-the-uk-driver-power-2020/ar-BB12EgX0?PC=EMMX20
  7. Silly question but is the replacement battery brand new or .......
  8. A bit of a strange one, wouldn't have thought that changing a stereo would have caused the warning lights to come on except the wires have crossed somewhere?otherwise you could try disconnecting the battery for about half an hour and reconnecting it(hopefully this might reset things)and see what happens
  9. Thanks for the information Matt, might look into getting one,is yours plastic or fiberglass please
  10. Hoping you have managed to get rid of the bird dropping especially as they can be very unkind to black paint work 🤔
  11. Take a gamble, assess the damage, work needed doing and take it from there(better still if you are good with your hands and can do some of it yourself)🤞👍👍

    Hello!!

    I think so too,especially the 250 f sport,not overly bothered about the sun blind,memory seats etc 😁

    Hello!!

Hello Steven and welcome to the LOC,hoping you find the forum educational and informative, there are lots of IS250's out there so having one shouldn't be too difficult(depending on spec you are after and what you want to spend)
  14. I have a Samsung note 9 and mine works fine in my is250 f sport, my car holds the information but you can only make calls, play music etc from the phone when they are paired. The fact that you didn't seem to notice the issue with your old phone seems to indicate that it is either your new phone or possibly what connoisseur has mentioned above

    I am new

Probably the best thing to do for now if you can't get a reasonable quote
  16. Thanks for providing us with your rare insight Roger👍👍👍
  17. Yes Kish it was, shame it's been retired for good(there's one at southend on sea airport)a bit the Concorde(saw that a few times as well)👍
  18. Same to you Piers🙂👍
  19. I managed to visit Duxford myself along with my young son a couple years and saw a Vulcan fly over Northampton in the early 2000's having made an appearance at the British Grand prix 👍
  20. Chances are that it's for the parking sensors, some manufacturers tend to include the wiring loom even though the sensors are not actually fitted.Hopefully some other members will confirm that the plug is exactly that
  21. What phone do you use, chances are its your phone rather than the car,try unpairing and pairing again
  22. The super 4 Bosch spark plugs should be ok as I also used them in my IS200 sport many years ago👍
  23. Well at least you are gradually getting there, hopefully it won't be too long before you get the car where you want it to be - all sorted 👍

    I am new

Unfortunately Max that's insurance companies for you(although not entirely their fault)so you might just have to garage it for a few years,my daughter is 24 and she pays £1500 a year to insure a Peugeot 107☹
  25. Welcome to the LOC Kish, hoping you find the forum educational and informative, nice to know you are happy with your car👍
