  1. Mainly better grip if I am not mistaken, years ago it used to common practice to put them on the front but that has since changed
  2. Hello Ian, congratulations on your recent acquisition and welcome to the LOC, hope you find the forum informative and helpful
  3. More than likely, try a new one and see
  4. Personally I would leave them on, they are there to serve a purpose, in a few months time you will probably be saying I have got chip stone marks there lol 😆
  5. I occasionally get them if I take my car to the car wash and I just use one of my many Polishes and that gets rid of it. I don't get it when I hand-wash my car using a hose pipe which is what I do more often than not 😆
  6. Rear lights are original although some did come with darker inserts if I can use that description
  7. Very nice and congratulations on your recent acquisition 👍
  8. If that's what the dealership is recommending there's no harm in going with that, tyres are chosen for a variety of reasons and seems to be a case of everyone to there own lol. I have got continental all seasons on my IS250 f sport 225.40.18 on the front and 255.40.18's on the rear which is the size the car came with.
  9. 50,000 miles, you will only get that impression off Google lol definitely not in the real world 🤣
  10. I would be very careful with this one, mot also expires in less than 2 weeks
  11. Yes it's normal mine does the same even my green petrol can does lol 😊
  12. What brand of memory stick are you using? have you tried using a smaller sized memory stick eg a 16gb?. Had a similar issue with my IS250 years ago as i realised it wouldn't play music from certain brands and sizes, still don't know why this is, all good for years now.
  13. They are not the same, if I am not mistaken the one in the IS300 is self dimming/photochromic while the one in the IS200 isn't
  14. Welcome to the LOC Jack and congratulations on your purchase, hoping you find the forum informative and educational 👍
  15. Why can't you charge the battery with it still in the car if I may ask?
  16. Jonelle, congratulations on your acquisition, welcome to the LOC, hope you find the forum informative and educational 👍
  17. Personally I would go with the red, I bought a pair of hcmotion smoked rear led lights for my usb IS250 f sport and didn't like them so ended up buying a pair of red ones which suit the car much better and also don't scream " after market " lol 😜
  18. Or get in touch with Daniel Walker at Lexus Direct he might be able to help
  19. How does the blown fuse explain the flat battery if I may ask
  20. I think it's meant to flash every 30 seconds so I don't think you have anything to worry about, hopefully a fellow LBX owner will come along and confirm this 👍
  21. Batteries nowadays don't seem to be lasting as long as they used to,have seen two year old cars/vans with flat batteries
