Are you sure you haven't got a very small/tiny hole/leak near the lamba sensor🤔,had the same P420 error code when I owned my IS200 sport and had a custom made stainless exhaust fitted,it so happened that there was a very tiny hole/leak in the welding near the sensor that triggered the engine management light and P420 error code 🤔
I have the f sport yes the suspension is firmer, but still comfortable,no cooled seats, blind etc,am sure there is a thread here that lists the differences,I personally prefer the f sport even though its missing some of the creature comforts lol 😆
What makes you think so,14 years on the same exhaust is pretty good going,so no you are not unlucky. To be honest it was bound to go at some point due to age rather than low mileage
I might be wrong but I think you will struggle to find a 2012 se-l as they were phased out in favour of the f sport and advance, probably better looking at 2009-2010 instead
The choice is yours if you do go aftermarket you might as well change the rear lights too. Email one of the guys at lexus parts direct and see what they come back with,at least it will give you a rough idea price wise
A point worth bearing in mind is that the early manual IS250's fall into the higher road tax bracket(£500+),while most of the later ones were automatics with slightly lower road tax(£300 +)
Everyone has an opinion and a platform for putting it across these days, l equally have a brain and can make up my own mind, glorified toyota or not I know what I would choose without a second thought 🤣
Chances are the tracker is responsible for your battery drain,my elderly mums a2 had a battery drain problem for years which was eventually traced to an old tracking system that had been fitted to the car
Doesn't the IS250 if l am not mistaken require roughly 7.1 litres of oil during a complete oil change?,in that case you are already almost a litre short 🤔
