  1. Personally I would say it's condensation coupled with the cold weather in your part of the world, although i stand to be corrected lol
  2. I suppose it's worth a gamble and hopefully will reveal any issues
  3. Probably not a head gasket issue, however I would top up the coolant as soon as possible and keep an eye on it, white smoke is probably just condensation which you will get more of this time of year. When was the car last serviced?
  4. Personally there are certain things I wouldn't buy off the bay and that includes spark plugs and oil amongst others
  5. Try Lexus Parts Direct-https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/?utm_source=Forum&utm_medium=Forum&utm_campaign=Forum&utm_id=Lexus+Owners+Club
  6. Ehhh what happened to us using our brains or is that now obsolete lol 😆 😂 😅
  7. Well you seem to be happy and all seems to be going well 👍
  8. Sadly some people just seem to be blinded by their own convictions real or unreal, at the end of the day do whatever suits you whatever that might be
  9. How many 250's in the uk have you heard of that have had this issue? any?
  10. The water ingress is probably through the driver side light probably has some padding missing on the surround of the light cluster
  11. Hello Madhav and welcome to the LOC, hope you find the forum informative and educational, I am unfortunately unable to answer your questions directly as I have no experience on the subject matter, however hopefully someone will come along and help you out
  12. George it would be great when you finally get your car sorted if you could put together an expenditure list of what you spent fixing on it
  13. Could also probably be getting in through the rear light cluster
  14. The vent shouldn't be taped over for starters and yes is most likely the cause of the water issue, hopefully an easy fix with a replacement one, barring the glue lol
  15. They should tap out from the rear but you will need to take the wheels off, on the other hand you could try and prise them off but risk scratching/damaging the wheels
  16. Nothing personal but just an honest question why buy a car that seems to spell trouble from the start? that is probably going to throw up various issues along the way???🤔
  17. Hello Robin and welcome to the LOC, hoping you find the forum informative and educational. Personally I think you have made a good choice👍
  18. Can't you just measure it lol 😆 on the other hand clean looks over practicality, the choice is yours, rear screens on hatchbacks and estates are notorious for getting dirty especially in wet and damp weather
  19. Try changing the battery in the fob and see what happens as a starting point
  20. Personally the "the for sale" section of the LOC has always been a bit like that-many views but no serious interest and I have never really understood why that it. Years ago you actually had to pay before you could advertise in the for sale section lol. I am also a member of 2 other car owners clubs and their "Market Place" are definitely a lot busier.
