Hi MNMJ
Just wondering which dealer are you using for your 5 year service as i'm in cheshire aswell, just ringing around for my 4th year service at the moment.
-
Hi all, not been on the forum for a while.
Been getting quotes for my 2011 ISF for the 4yr/40k service, all have been quoting £545 which seems quite expensive for what it is.
Anyone had theirs done recently?
Cheers.
-
I must admit I have never seen the combination that you are asking for...........however there are more 2nd and 3rd facelifts appearing as they slowly end there lease and warranty!
Mines a 2011 facelift with DRL in White with white interior and sunroof with only 18k miles! Don't think I've seen another in this exact same combination for the last 12months.
-
Hi Steve, I'm due for the 40k/4 year service early next year, so you paid £412 all in from Lexus Canterbury?
Yep
Cheers will keep in mind when I'm phoning around.

For anyone interested, emailed the dealer that i took out the warranty with regarding the sat nav, got told they are not 100% sure wether it's covered or not.
Then I contacted another dealer who spoke to the claims team and confirmed that the ICE and nav is covered under the extended warranty by email.
-
and if it goes wrong then it goes wrong. And the ICE isn't covered anyway which I'm told is a known weak link... If its still moving I'll just px it for something else and pass the trouble to the garage, whilst telling everyone on here to stay clear!
Been told by the Dealer the sat nav is covered under the extended warranty, will email them to confirm.

I've took the 2 year warranty out as well, due to start in 2 weeks. But I'm thinking of cancelling and keep the money in the bank as mine only has 18k miles.

Took advantage of the nice weather and gave the car a good detail over the weekend which consists of.
- Snow foam then wash
- Iron X
- Power rinse
- clay Bar
- Wash and dry
- Polish
- Wax
Also cleaned and treated the leather and polished up the tail pipes.
Only managed to take some photos today, the car is very dusty by now.
Excuse the parking, I did move the car back into space after taking the photos.
And one with my other toy

Very poor serivice indeed Stu, the whole impression i got from them is "you've just bought the car from a private seller with the defect on the wheels already, don't expect us to do anything".
Just had a look on the small prints on the extended waranty docs, it states road wheel are excluded.
Looks like i'd have to get it refurbed myself at some point.

Just an update on this
Went to a local Lexus dealer 2 weeks ago for them to take some photos of the blistering around the centre caps, said they'll send them off to Lexus customer relations for goodwill. As the car is 3.5 years old, the extended warranty won't cover alloy wheels, so there is no point making a claim to them as it'll just get rejected.
Didnt hear anything back since then on Friday i decided to ring the dealer to chase it up, been told Lexus have declined the claim due to 3 reasons
1- Car is out of manufacturer warranty
2- Didnt buy the car from new
3- Purchased outside the dealer network
So i phoned Lexus customer relations and explained to them this is a top of the range premium luxury car that costs £50,000 and for the wheel to corrode like this for such a new car is something unaccpetable.
They basically told me to fob off as i've just bought the car recently and it's a private sale, not interested in anything i say.

This is Chris's car, he only sold it to the dealer the other day.

Thanks Simon, seen a picture of yours posted up on another forum by your friend with the DC5. :)
-
This is actually a MY10 car, the obvious difference are no centre rev counter, lack of silver trim on steering wheel and silver engine cover instead of Black carbon effect found on the 2011 cars.
My guess would be it's had a front end damage and repaired with the facelift LED DRL headlights.

Lol... One thing I noticed since owning the ISF is how much attention it attracts, a real head turner!
-
Such a shame I was in a hurry to get back up in Manchester, otherwise I'd come and say hello with my new purchase.
-
Hi Matt
You are more than welcome to come for a drive if you ever happen to be up here...HAHA.
Btw thanks again for sorting the warranty transfer for me and don't worry I will look after it. :)

Thanks Pete
Not alot plan wise, looking to get a Takeda intake and an exhaust of some sort to make it sound more beefier!
Any chance you could sort me a set of the interior LEDs?
-
Will do with the car being only 3 years old with low mileage.
-
Thanks, would it be a new set or a refurbished set like Phil have mentioned.
-
Is that for a new set Stu? Who did you spoke to with regards to this, just so that I'm armed with info incase they go funny with me.
-
Thanks everyone!
