    You are correct in that it does have the same engine, but it is not an LC 'F'. The F version of the LC has not been officially released, and will have a different engine in the form of a 4.0l TT V8 IIRC.

    Very interesting topic. Looking forward to seeing what other people have left for. Only just joined the fold too, after waiting for along time and I don’t think I will be leaving until the calling of an electric car is mandatory, which I hope is a long time. I’ve always liked the ek9, ep3 and FD2 Type R’s. My first car was a 3dr Civic VTiS but as I was a student for so long I was never able to make the change to an R. As much as I like the idea of the latest Type R, the styling is just way over the top for my liking so I think I’ve missed the boat!

    I doubt it. I personally feel that the box is more than capable. It may not be as fast at shifting than boxes in rival super saloons but I doubt that you would ever notice unless you tracked these cars. I don’t ever intend to do this so the box is good enough for me. Super smooth for everyday driving and I have confidence that it won’t go bang once the car is 3 years old.

    I always thought that running under inflated and over inflated tyres would cause premature tyre wear ?

    Yes all of mine are black and luckily not through to the metal. This wheel is also my front left ! Sounds like the wheels are painted in a soft paint 😡. I may leave this then until I get more chips and have all the wheels refurbished in a more resilient paint.

    I seem to be picking up a lot of stone chips on the wheels of our GSF. I don’t think they have been refurbished and I do very little miles. Has anyone else experienced anything similar ? The worst one happened this morning.

    Toilets that clean your bum have been around for many years in Asia and are now easily available over here lol

    I think that the availability of AVS in the 4RX is possibly one of the reasons why air suspension was dropped. The ride on our GSF is very good and that is fitted with AVS.

    We have a 2012 F Sport and we are happy with the ride. It isn’t a ‘ magic carpet ride’ but I personally do not think it is as harsh as the press made it out to be. I felt that the F Sport definitely rolled and dived less than the standard models. We purchased ours in 2015 with 28k on the clock from Lexus Hull.

    Sounds like you had a good time, that V8 is fantastic. I’ve always liked the ISF but it was never the right time to buy one when the perfect one turned up. I’m only 5ft7 and I’m not sure that a 6ft person would be able to sit comfortably behind me though 🤷🏾‍♂️. Good luck with your search.

    is there no way that the angle of the beam can be altered for continental driving? I know that this is possible on some German cars.

    I’ve always used the key in this slot to open it up.

    I don’t think it is possible, even if you update the DVD. Interestingly when I updated the DVD on our 2007 model to the 2009 version, It enabled the destination to be changed whilst in motion.

    Thank you, I will give it a try this weekend... weather permitting! The GSF is addictive. It has way too much performance for the road but it’s nice to have it there. I wanted a V8 before everything went electric and the noise is wonderful. The box works well with the paddles but I mostly leave it in auto for my daily commute.

    I’ve noticed my wipers are also noisy, even after having them replaced at the dealer. What did you use to degrease they windscreen?
