Wow £3000 for a 1 year warranty on an M4? Shows how much faith BMW have with that car. Makes the McLaren and Aston warranty look like a bargain 😂

Nothing new. It’s been a 2-4-1 offer at those current prices since around 2013

I also came across a couple GSFs without the ML fitted. Initially my ideal specification was a white exterior with full black leather and the ML. The only GSF I could find in 2 years of looking with this exterior-interior combination came without the ML fitted.

I’m guessing the set up in the RCF is the same as the GSF. I have noticed on our GSF that there is sometimes a bit of a delay when shifting with the paddles in Normal mode when the car is in Auto. However the car doesn’t shift up when in manual mode. Even when it is in auto and I’ve down shifted with the paddles, it doesn’t seem to shift up again afterwards, as I’ve been caught out a couple of times.

I think the latest RCF also has a launch control feature which would help it achieve that 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds?

I agree. Especially as it’s the same price as the RC200t/RC300h

Had this problem back in 2015. It was intermittent back then and Lexus couldn’t find any issues when the car went visited the service centre on multiple occasions. The problem seemed to resolve itself since then, until last weekend when at least one of the front two centre sensors are now constantly on when in drive at low speeds. I have cleaned and dried the sensors and blasted them with an airline but nothing seems to have worked. I’m guessing the dealerships will be closed from Thursday (our GSF was supposed to being in for a fuel pump issue) so we will just have to put up with it for now. 🙄 IMG_4259.MOV IMG_4259.MOV

That is only usually possible if they are owned by the same franchise. I.e Motorline, Inchcape etc

Raj is great. He always makes a big effort when our cars are in. I've used Protyre once for alignment on our RX450h and they did a good job, so cant complain.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new car. I’ve been using Bristol Lexus for over 10 years and the after care department are a great bunch of people. They always go out of their way to help not only myself but our other family members. I would just double check they can check your alignment though. I’ve always had to use a 3rd party as they didn’t have the equipment. This may have changed though.

Yes that is the correct price for the 2-4-1 offer. A very good price IMO compared to other manufacturers. Many years ago it was twice that price, but the 2-4-1 offer has been available since around 2013 IIRC. The extension was for the break down cover and not the warranty unfortunately.

Bristol Lexus had a quick look today. Provisional diagnosis is the fuel pump but the car is booked in for further investigation. Great service as usual.

Yes, looks like it is there to me. It even has the power light next to the logo.

If it has the logo under the stereo and in the middle of the middle rear speaker on the parcel shelf, then I would be almost certain that it has the ML upgrade. You could try pulling the build sheet on the Lexus portal if you have the VIN number.

After a bit of searching I stubbled across this Link I’m guessing as mine is a 2017 car and the UK TSB is for 2016 models that it is unlikely the dealer will not entertain this fix. No harm in asking I guess !

No, they haven’t been on for a while. Good idea though, as that has caught me out in the past. I tried to capture it on video but all you can hear is the engine at idle 🤦🏽‍♂️. I’ll try again when I next notice it.

Thanks for the comments. I’m in normal mode with 3/4 of a tank. I assumed that ASC only works in Sport & Sport +, but I will give it a go. I will try and catch it on video when I next hear it.
